I can forgive them for not being good enough, but what I can’t forgive is them not giving everything for the shirt ! :emoticon-0121-angry

One would have thought that playing for pride and professional standing would count for something ?

I know that. I’ve complained about it for months. It’s irrelevant to what I am saying.

Our inability to contest corners and free kicks, to be bullied in the centre of the pro, does not excuse some of the tackles the West Ham team have put in, particularly the one which injured Zimmerman and went completely unpunished.

Your point is a totally different discussion.

The BT commentator mentioned how DF remained seated during the first half drinks break.
Not a word was said to any player, apparently.
He clearly couldn't give a Farke, either.

I agree. The score line isn’t actually totally fair on the players - we went a goal down early to a team primed to score from long balls on the break or from set pieces.

    Then conceded another set piece.

Then succumbed to a long ball.

The problem is dealing with set pieces, not lack of endeavour.

    Idah, Martin, Rupp and Cantwell.

The first ever quadruple substitution in a competitive football match?

I'm surprised Vrancic stayed on after those 4 subs. He's looked the most out of sorts today. Really off the pace.

If Farke ever gets a statue erected of him I'm going to rip it down and chuck it in the river.
