Takeover (Covid-19/20)

he will .. if he goes the narrative is that he did well... regardless of what we have played like he's got the job done... other clubs in relegation battles will be keen on him ... cheap too

 

mid table is the ceiling really say 10th but despite people claiming we're the worst squad or claiming it's a miracle we stay up with a championship squad that's bullshit though..the league table doesn't lie.. we're pretty much where we should be.

 

looking at Dyche. He would be great for when the takeover fall through. Had a bad year, but now has Burnley doing brilliantly.

 

Why would he come to us with no takeover?

A ****ton of nowt again. Some bollock rumours about Saudi Telecom which sounds like absolute horseshit to me.

Worst thing is the club, with an absolutely gash manager, is completely stationary. Nothing at all is being done and the new season is a month away or so. There’s precious little time for even a change of ownership to have an impact.

All of this distraction has made people overlook how fooked we really are. It’s a terrible squad and worst of all it’s getting older, not better. Many of our first eleven aren’t PL quality, let alone the reserves. The dream of a takeover is being rapidly replaced with the nightmare of our reality.

all the works being done in the background I have no doubt... they'll already have spoken with agents ... these people will know the landscape

 

maybe a club with bigger pockets for his wage and a slightly bigger profile than Burnley

 

We can pay good wages when we feel inclined. Rafa was really well paid, especially compared to everyone around us.

Once again, it's all dependent on how we feel at the time, under Rafa we were motivated... but certainly not as motivated as Rafa expected. Now, we're just happy to exist, as we were under McClaren and Carver.

 

He'd be a fool to leave a steady ship at Burnley to come to this basket case club

 

Course, he's mister Burnley, he rules the place.

But I'm just saying, if we feel like it, we CAN pay well. We do have some weight we just ****ing refuse to throw around.

 

There's only 3 or 4 games webe looked like we can play well..Bournemouth, man city at home , man united home and Southampton away as far as I recall.. Bournemouth are dreadful, Southampton had 10 men.. that leaves the city and man united home game.. I think we got them at a good time I don't think we can play unless the other teams are playing badly personally... were one of the poorer sides but not the worst.. we're are in an accurate position
