Unless we play someone who knows about creating goals (from the middle of the pitch), we'll get nowhere. Serge `The Fall guy' Aurier .... Over used, not good enough.....No chance Ben `Where Did They Go' Davies....Slower then Auntie Mavis...No chance H. `Sweet Boy' Winks... Three reverse gears and one towards the front...No chance And can we really afford to sit down a £65 Million player on the bench...really... are we Man $ City? Over to you José Mourinho.
Obviously we're looking to do what we did in the first half against United and sit back, let the opposition come to us and hit them on the break. What I don't get is why Lucas and Son are chosen over Bergwijn, who has been the main reason this tactic has worked previously. Hopefully Arsenal take the bait and commit forward, it's our best chance. Jose seemed surprised that Bournemouth didn't go all out against us from kick off, so who knows whether he's got it right this time. Regardless of how Jose sets us up, our players and the refs may well ruin whatever chance we do have.
Going to be a long afternoon - I really I can't believe that I have got to watch Winks / Sissoko midfield 2 again, they make Sherwood and Nielsen look good, C O Y S
As if I needed more evidence that sky are taking the piss , up rolls ****ing Judas, ask him how his managerial careers going and what his blood money bank balance is like .......oh and just one more thing , **** OFF S£Y
1-1 HT. Started brightly, but their goal seemed to knock the confidence. Too many mistakes and we've picked up too many cards, as a result. Aurier looking like a liability, as usual, but we've got nobody to replace him.
I figured we'd see a more motivated and effective side but we've actually been very watchable too. I hadn't been impressed with Son and Lucas since the restart but they've both been very sharp, helping us morph between 442 and 433. The big worry is the bookings. Oliver has been very card happy and VAR can't even get involved if it's a second booking.
Sky hate us - Campbell, Redknapp and Alan Smith - its so biased its untrue. As for the game we are so wide open i still think we will lose
