Pablo you beautiful man. I'm still in seventh heaven thanks to Pablo magic Imagine being in that away end, would of gone mental & many of us missed it
Leeds have now won 12 away games in the single season in the second tier of English football for the first time since 1963/64 (12), when we won promotion as champions. Written in the stars.
Leeds have now picked up 84 points this season, our highest points total in a second tier campaign since 1989/90 when we were promoted as champions (85). We’ve still got three games left. DESTINY
This is why I dislike Steve Cooper so much, he hadn’t the grace to acknowledge that Bielsa is a special coach today either: Cooper: What's it like coming up against Bielsa? What has he brought to the Championship? We focus on ourselves. Leeds are good, but we want to play the way we do and focus on ourselves. He’s a sad, parochial little wannabe with no humility about him whatsoever. I’d see Cardiff or Millwall go up rather than Swansea with this tosser in charge. Have a good evening Steve.
Phew........ But that team is showing some balls having to play last every match. Hope they can keep it going
Yes, I thought the same. Gallagher and Ayew with their workrate, if they play like that every week, would be able to play under Bielsa. I can see why Ayew was linked.
Fantastic shout for MOTM from Andy Hughes during the post match meet up. Everyone was giving it to Pablo...and there's no doubt he was the difference. Hughsie though gave it to Meslier and I thought wow you're right. He was absolutely rock solid and made a great punched clearance from the last corner as well as being so calm and saving everything with ease. For such a young lad with barely any experience it was a very accomplished performance. Jon Newsome added, "when you're facing last minute pressure with high balls coming in and your keeper comes and punches it 20/30 yards from goal you just want to kiss him." Let's hope we hear an announcement about his permanent signing sooner rather than later.
Swansea came with a game plan to frustrate, and to their credit it worked, but Jesus Christ if they make the play offs I’ll be amazed. So poor going forward.
Was just thinking there that Kiko's suspension is now over. Will be quite revealing if he fails to make the bench on Thursday.
