Judas does look mighty pissed off. Can't think why he can't get a managerial job with his bubbly personality and searing insights. Apparently Man Utd could get top 4 now. Brilliant. Chairmen snap him up now.

This is due to the referee allowing us to tackle-because you are allowed to tackle against Woolwich. Had that been Grealish or Richarlison they would be falling about getting fouls , taking away the confidence of Moura.

I thought it was because you put in some decent tackles but if you thought the ref was lenient fair play for admitting it <ok>

Christopher Aurier was found with a gunshot wound in his abdomen

Europe 1 claim local residents called the police after finding the 26-year-old on the ground.

He was allegedly shot in the stomach before the killer fled the scene.

The incident is believed to have happened outside a nightclub in the early hours of the morning.

Christopher was then pronounced dead at Toulouse University hospital.

    RIP

Serge won’t turn out for us for the remainder of the season I guess

Good result and I didn’t watch the game because I was working (listened only radio) so can’t moan about the style of football, watched the highlights on motd and looked like second half was all Arsenal possession wise but they didn’t do anything with it.

That's basically it. The first half was quite to and fro, but we picked up too many cautions.
Mourinho clearly switched to the deep block after the break and we largely surrendered possession.
Aubameyang had two chances, one of which hit the bar and the other was saved by Lloris, but that was about it.
Martinez kept them in it by saving a bunch of chances on the break and our poor choices helped him out.

They had a lot of the ball but the highlights showed 2 of the 3 clear chances they created Aubamayeng passed up a decent chance before they scored in the first half, and there were his 2 efforts in the 2nd half; he hit the bar when he should score and forced Hugo into a fairly comfortable save. I wouldn't say we were comfortable but equally there was not much 'last ditch defending' either. We were good with the ball and the fact that their keeper was probably the best player suggests that we could have won by more. I certainly don't agree with Artetas assessment that they were the much better team.

I thought Lucas was excellent yesterday in all aspects of his play. Toby looked like a defender again, and Winks was industrious, and showed some signs of starting to get to grips with some of the darts arts required to play that position in the modern game, he still has a lot to learn.

He probably had a touch of the Brendan Rodgers by thinking possession alone should win you the match.

This despite the fact we had more shots in total, a lot more on target, more dangerous pieces of play, more corners and well... more goals.

Son and Kane not looking for each other at the end

Given how starved they were in the previous couple of matches, I'm not surprised they overcompensated

So they were greedy because of the previous game?

nothing to do with their nature?

    I get it...it’s Jose’s fault

It's hardly unusual for a player who has been in a rut to be greedy when the ball comes their way instead of passing it, and considering we barely got the ball up to Harry Kane against Sheffield United, Everton or Bournemouth no wonder he was shooting on sight
