    JETSTREAM 5:05 Southwell 7/1

This horse is racing off a mark that he really should be winning off. He was a close third off the same mark last season before turning in a pretty ropey effort on his last jumps start. This yard are pretty can though and he was a huge eyecatcher in a warm up on the level twelve days ago. The yard needs bookie money to pay their way and I fully expect him to be smashed up this evening.

Kielan Woods, one of my favourite jockeys, rides and he is in scintillating form.

Two Sox runs tomorrow night, Stick likes backing my competition horses so worth taking a look at that one at decent odds. It should relish the step up in trip being a Nathaniel.

Looking at the Bath card and I see Mr Johnston sends only Camouflaged down but currently a shade odds on I will leave that one alone. I am drawn to the ones that were last time out winners and Mr Attwater has two so I will await and see if Stick has any views. Of his two I like Cappananty con to follow up. Also like the look in the opener of Indian Sounds to follow up. Will wait until the morning and see how the ground is riding before making any decisions.

Have you watched Party Planner's last run at Windsor? I am not sure if it is being "manipulated" or is just a very slow boat. Interestingly in the race after tonight runs a horse called Sea Of Maria who was one place behind Party Planner in that Windsor maiden. The horse who finished one place in front of them was soundly beaten on handicap debut yesterday off a mark of 65.
Both are being heavily supported and are up in trip from 8f to 12f but if you watch the Windsor race again you would surely be hard pressed to put cold hard cash on either!

I am keen on FLEUR DU SUEIL 8/1 Southwell 3:25 today. She looked like she would benefit from the run on seasonal debut and the yard do think quite a lot of her. Even of its type this a very modest race so she should really be in contention.

Interesting race today, very surprised to see that horse as big as it is in the market. The one that caught my eye was the Ben Pauling horse whose debut in bumpers was fair enough and I thought this morning that she was a massive price and could easily be good enough to run well in that race.

The Pauling horse has had wind surgery and may appreciate the better ground today. There are 5 or 6 in the race that have shown fair bumper form but have then been a big let down over hurdles. The favourite has the most solid form but rated only 117 and the two in front of my selection were 122 and 120 horses so she really doesnt appear to have a great deal to find. Its not a race to believe we will see any world beating mares in, unless of course one of them hoses up.

Shame the jock was stood down. STD taking over. He took the ride on the stables other one, 33s into 12s but could not get into the places. I don't rate the pilot on hold up horses so hopefully this isn't a negative for you but the moneys down, now 3/1 so good luck.
