How do you work that one out? Pontus played for them in August when they slipped up to Hull and Charlton, we also beat them, they took 7 points from a possible 18. Pontus played in September, they lost 3-0 to Preston and drew 0-0 with Stoke? October, November, December they slipped up a few times, a few 1-0 defeats, Pontus played, lack of goals cost them.

 

It was just a feeling as their results seemed to be worse in Jan/Feb when he was injured...too may draws I think.

Also since the resumption only 2 goals conceded and Pontus seems to be playing well. It helps that they just ask him to defend and play simple easy passes out from the back. At Leeds there was more onus on him to play forward with purpose and it exposed him as a little sluggish in possession at times.

They definitely seem much more solid defensively when he plays, in my opinion.
