Trump is only 13/8 (Biden 8/11).

anyone else find that worryingly narrow a margin?

In a two horse race, regardless of how knackered the two horses are, the odds will be quite close

Same reason you wouldn’t laugh if your surgeon had Parkinson’s or your pilot was Stevie Wonder.

I think that if one is to agree with the above, one would first have to adopt on a voting system that reflects all the people, eg Compulsory Voting. A majority of any degree must show a true bias one way or another. Ad hoc voting does not do this. Thatcher had a massive hundred seat majority in the commons but hardly won a seat north of London, but won nearly everything in the home counties which had much smaller constituencies but many of them. I believe I'm right in saying that the Labour Party outvoted the Tories over all but still lost. If everyone had voted, would the result have been different?

I don't know the rules of US politics but can't the republicans put forward a different candidate? You know like one who is sane and not obviously off his head on drugs most days.

It appears as though there are a sufficient number of nutters in the Republican party to give the Orange Menace their support.

Yes but what about that report into Russia that Johnson got a copy of before the last election but which had to be reviewed before it could be released and so it hasn't seen the light of day.

    'The villainy'...Hilarious

Didn't get the memo on that one obviously. Old hat, done and dusted.

You cannot help but presume that the criteria or threshold to be applied in any voting system that an anti democrat such as Pullman would support would be anything that led to their electoral success and the imposition of their worldview over 'those too thick to understand'.

Villainy? It is I believe his opinion, which if I'm not mistaken you were very strong in supporting the right of people to express their opinion? The main point of the post was to enquire about the Russia Report the publication of which was delayed by Johnson, prior to the general election.
