For another "Donald" it would be good if that was O'Brien - not that he would be as incompetent but doesn't have enough money that would be required to get the club back up to the Premier hence the need for FPP backing
I have a good mate, of 25 years, who knows them and told me of their interest a year ago. He's gone quiet on me which is very unusual. This is all making me really jumpy tbh
I don't think anyone mentioned has the money required to bring the club to the level it should be at .... ... we couldn't manage it with Short so another Donald, on his own, would be futile.
Straw clutching time now, chopping and changing between here and over the road. Can't get anything done. I'll never learn will I?
It's all we have mate. The Mags are in the same boat tbh ... ... if their takeover fails anything could happen.
But say the Americans don't have any faith in Donald now, O'Brien's cone in to run the day to day to get up to the Championship, a few more million is put in for shares to help get us up to the Prem, then they take full control of the club - not that I'm getting my hopes up whatsoever!
Why would they have any faith in Donald .. . ... he's a failure, twice, who's now alienated the entire support. Someone local, and bullshiit free, would quickly galvanise the supporters.
I'm just generally jumpy, this situation is getting to us all tbh. He's normally in touch all the time and is a big Sunderland supporter, I'm taking his silence that something is happening. I'm fine and hope you are, cheers
Like most clubs tbh ... ... who thought Bournemouth would go down. The talk was about kicking on, new stadium, big investment. Now they look shot to pieces.
