I know you can’t do an awful lot with just red but could at least have some shading, some sort of pattern on it. Don’t get the need for the turquoise trim, doesn’t seem to fit with anything really
I like it, reminds me of an old shirt we had I think with the turquoise trim. Really like the black away kit. And the 3rd.
I really like it. I loved this year's pinstripe kit but generally speaking I think plain kits are much better. The more we sell, the more we get from Nike. That Swiss Ramble article I was reading earlier said the deal can get to £70m.
If I go for any of them it would probably be that third kit. Not bought a short for a few years now though, only wear them at footy and it's a bit expensive for just that.
I actually did buy a shirt a year or two back, but it was the 1964 long sleeve from a site DirtyFrank put me on to. Now that's what I call a football shirt I miss DirtyFrank #oldschool
You just reminded me to thank you for putting me onto the LoveFollowConquer site. I ordered 3 tshirts which were well received by all the recipients. I miss Frank too. One of the best posters on here.
That's great news jb, LoveFollowConquer is an excellent site to support...........100% Scouse Clobber as it says. I'm going to be putting some more business their way soon, some rather nice jackets on there.
I seem to remember the Reebok kits of the 90s incorporated green, could've just been on the away though. This new home kit, which has been leaked for months and so seems to be real now, is just bad bad bad. Firstly it's incredibly bland in all aspects of the design, secondly I don't think green has any place on our home kit. If the highlights were gold, yellow or white, silver-grey, even black, it wouldn't be so ugly and for me that would make it look a lot better. It's that element that irks me the most. Such a small detail but has such a big impact. Also with it being Nike, I guarantee the applied logos will start to wear off and break sooner rather than later, especially if washed regularly. Then there's also the fact that Nike have just been plain lazy by using the red and green from recent Portugal kits for ours. It doesn't make it feel special at all, it actually feels disrespectful and makes it look like disinterest on their part. Which is maybe what to expect from such a huge company. I just hope the financial reward is worth the sacrifice for not very special kits. I really like the black and pink shirt, if that turns out to be real, again these look legit now. Looks cheap though. As they all do really. And the all green one is just f*cking grim.
