Very late posting this but Smiffyboy Nth London Addick and Dodger have called a meeting tonight at 18.30 in the Elephant and Castle pub in Woolwich to explain their findings about the ESI/Farnell/Southall ongoing scam, and to mobilise everyone to fight for the existence of our club. The call is to lay down our differences and unite for Charlton while it still exists. Obviously geography means I won't be there but it would be great to get as many people in as possible - the clock is ticking.
I hope the meeting went well. It was damned hot, so I imagine a few refreshing drinks were enjoyed. And a few heads might be a bit delicate today. The Club knew something was happening, hence the letter from Chris Parkes that very afternoon. We all wish we could rely on what it says, but I doubt it. Certainly if the EFL doesn't get the proof it wants, that letter will become one of the most tragic obituaries CAFC will receive.
