Yes but doesn’t come in till next season, that’s bollax & they should be down & not Wigan, in fact Charlton would have stayed up
The timing is dodgy to say the least....just after the season ended despite the EFL having taken months to deliberate
Btw Charlton's "owners" have not been ratified either...and poor old Charlton are a heart beat away from being in the same position as Wigan. Can I suggest the EFL is in a bit of a shambles at the moment. Bury gone, Wigan teetering, Charlton teetering. Sheff Wednesday 12 PT deduction, Derby decision still pending. Thank you Lee Hoos, SLF, Waarbs...and all the board for keeping us intact.
Corrupt. Unfair. Disgraceful. Why would you be a party to the EFL. Eight months in and a decision forwarded to next season. A complete disgrace against every other team in the English Football League. If teams don’t stand up to this type of decision, they have zero backbone and should hide their faces in shame.
That is a huge surprise. Eddie Howe is Bournemouth through and through. Would not be surprised to see(1) Brooks, Wilson, King and a few others leave and the new manager come in and last only a few weeks.
Harrogate Town promoted to League Two Beating Notts County 3-1 in play-off, another new name in the EFL...
Good for them! I lived in Harrogate for two years when I was at college, so pleased for them - lovely town (or it used to be, that was a long time ago...)
That is one ground I've not been to....so back up to 15 of the 92 still to do Actually - make that 16 with Brentford's new palace
They do currently so it will need to be replaced with a grass pitch for the new season Clearly the rules are different in Scotland as a few teams up there use them
Champions League- allowed. League Two- not allowed, we’d rather have half the games in winter postponed and create a huge loss of revenue and extra costs instead. Genius from the powers that be.
Brentford v Fulham... More funny if Brentford lose. More ruinous for Fulham if they lose. Maybe the stadium could just fall down instead.
I think I'd prefer Fulham to win this. Not sure I could stand the spunking from the commentators and Sky if Brentford win. Plus it would be funny to see Brentford lose it.
