Any idea what he's moaning about, given that he says it's not failing to back him in the market? Not protecting him? Jumping on the bandwagon? Er, ok...
As I have said before, I respect the performances of the teams themselves, while having utter contempt for their club owners (and sometimes that owners' home nations - whose govts have directly/indirectly aided and abetted them) .
And indeed how can anyone be impressed by a manager who has unlimited funds to overcome deficiencies in their team. It really annoys me when a pundit says something like "Guardiola identified the problem and bought [someone] to overcome it". No **** Sherlock, many managers can see the problems in their teams, but they have to work within a budget to fix it. So when a certain manager didn't do very well in his first season, realising his defence wasn't good enough, then spent more than the defence budget of several countries to fix it, how much credit does he really deserve?
£70m+. £40m for Ake, £20.75m for Torres, £9m for Moreno and some undisclosed fees for youth players. They've made most of that back with the sales of Sane, Correia and Ambrose, though.
...dammit Translation Beautiful beautiful gifts but beautiful (and important). ❤️ Even if I'm not a football expert (of those who know calendars and names of each player, to understand) I am Rossonera from birth and will be until the end. My family gave me love for Milan and red and black have been two constants in my life. When asked what number I would like to see printed under my surname, I could only think of the 6th (on my identity card day and month of birth) but I also chose it in honor of Franco Baresi, who wears this number for so many years. Thank you very much (Rossonero) @acmilan @pumafootball thisismilan P.S. We don't accept insults under this post... rather let's always remember that sport should unite and not divide!
Colour me shocked, United have gone ahead with a dodgy penalty. Who, apart from everyone, saw that coming.
I heard the commentator say that's their 21st penalty this season . We've had like 18 or 19 over the past 5 years. It's farcical how many penalties they get, a number of which are highly dubious.
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...c-copenhagen-europa-league-quarter-final-live "96 min Our statisticians tell me that was Manchester United’s 84th penalty of the season." Seemed like more.
That's league penalties. We've had 18 in all competitions, which is still less than their current total in this campaign.
So English refs, European refs and VAR. Ever thought refs might actually know the rules and you are just a bit thick
