I didn't think that they were bent, until this season and the introduction of VAR. I thought that they were just ****. They've gone out of their way to **** it up, changing it immediately and getting obvious, blatant decisions wrong repeatedly. The day when there were three games and all of them contained an incorrect penalty call was just silly. Realising that we've never had a penalty against Man Utd in the Premier League was a bit of a smack in the face, too. Not just because that's bloody ridiculous, but because the stat obsessed pundits never mention it. Nobody at Sky, who point out random, stupid **** about every game, has ever thought of it? Yeah, alright...
If I were Levy, I'd submit a pisstakingly low bid for him, just to see if we can't get rid of a few more of the AFTV pondlife
Just thought that was worth repeating. As you are so right. They mention totally ludicrous coincidences ("and Stoke have never been beaten away on a Tuesday night when a repeat of Dad's Army is on the TV...") but they don't mention something like that... which might just be more than a coincidence.
Ah, the booby-trap of "free transfers" . I am trying to think of any player signed so, who is then sold off for a decent transfer fee if it does not work out at the club.
Whilst technically for some of these not free but signed for a tribunal fee Solanke to Pool Ings to Pool Pogba to juve Can to Pool Llorente to swansea
Wait! I thought Pool did the best transfer business in the world, ever. We keep being told that by the pundits so it must be true.
Ah, so you don't listen to Talk Sport? Probably a good thing, because as they never criticise Pool and only heap massive praise on the team, it might cause some Pool supporters to become a bit too big for their boots.
The media will never criticize Pool or dare to expose their enjoyment of beneficial refereeing etc, they put a positive spin on all things Pool at all times. It is all part of the master plan to influence perception around Pool and to give them the best possible chance to be successful. Talk about something often enough, and shove it down people`s throats often enough, and eventually people start to believe it, whether it is true or not, which creates a positive perception.
i've listened to their match commentaries occasionally but nowt else but more to the point your reply doesn't contain anything about transfer policy which is what you posted about .
Paul Pogba: joined Juve for £0, rejoined Man Utd for £89m Carlos Tevez: joined The Thaksin Shinawatra Team for £0, moved to Juventus for £12m Roberto Baggio: joined Bologna for £0, moved to Inter for £3m (I think...)
