Are we awful for not having statues to the millions of Bengalis who fought for Britain? Should there be models of Jamaican pilots sitting in the cockpits of the Spitfires? Are we being reminded that Britain had the first concentration camps in South Africa?

I went to the Army Museum a few years ago to see the Warhorse exhibition and there was an obvious attempt to blacken up the history. I saw a lady of ethnicity at the reception area and thought "there's a turn up for the books, someone black who is coming to a museum to see just how much black people have contributed to this country" but she just went to the café with all the other mums and screaming toddlers.

I've been to many museums, rarely do I see anyone of ethnicity inside them unless they are tourists. The well meaning black middle classes miss a vital point, the vast majority of black people do not give a f.uck about what part tiny their ancestors may have played in making Britain great, they are more interested in reparations for slavery.

Out of interest, where in the world is most slavery still happening? What's at the root of most of the conflicts in Africa over recent decades?

"concentration camp" was a new name for "internment camp" which were originally introduced by the Spanish in Cuba. Lefties like to mention "concentration camp" re South Africa because the gullible will think of the inhabitants being gassed like in Germany and Poland during the Second World War.
