Hi Guys You’ve got an honest, good pro in Smith. Look after him - he’s special! Swansea City: Korey Smith signs with Freddie Woodman set to follow https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53782655
Thanks , he could be exactly whats been missing for so long . https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...tterill-4423890.amp?__twitter_impression=true
Korey is a class act, a team player, quiet and quality, we will miss him a lot, good luck to the man and his family.
An honest answer mate, his contract had run out and his time had come and we have had massive changes over here, we also have a number oyf young mid field players pushing, coming from our academy, one is a young Welsh lad called Jo Morrell , plays for your national side, another good man, good luck to Korey.
A lot of Bristol fans seems to think he was injury prone. Quite a few fans on Twitter thought so..........is that why they are telling us to look after him?
Just to add to what Wiz said; he got a nasty injury at the end of the 18/19 season which knocked him out for the best part of a year. When he returned, we got the same attitude, commitment and professionalism that is always there, but he was a little - let’s say ‘Rusty’ after so long in the treatment room. He’s a Bristol City legend and most of us really genuinely wish him all the best - who knows he may even get a standing ovation when he appears at the Gate - he certainly deserves one (a bit like you guys applauded ‘Magic Daps’ when we played you back in n the day!!!!
No. He wasn’t ‘prone’. He did have a bad injury (see previous post) but it wasn’t recurring. He’s a very likeable professional and probably similar in our hearts as Trundle was to you.
Thanks for that, He should do very well here then. .......... will have to tell him not to please too much, or the bloody Yanks will try and sell him off for a profit. ,!!!!! Anyway thanks again.
Here’s a good post from our own board: https://www.not606.com/threads/stev...citys-double-side-exiting-korey-smith.385714/
Just a correction; he did suffer twice. My bad - I thought it was only once. Still don’t class that as ‘prone’ though.......
