They can have Dalot, be a bit mad to give Henderson that contract and let him play for someone else though?

There's no intention of selling him at the end of the loan. Might be more the case that after that he'll be a ready replacement for De Gea.

It's just reports so... but there are probably other players we should be tempting them with. Lingard would make more sense if they're losing Grealish.

I've read reports that it might be van de Beek in with Fred offloaded to Turkey. If that's the case we will have a really solid midfield with options on the bench too.

Looks that Van de Beek is happening. Quite a promising recruit, fingers crossed. The non record breaking price should help ease pressure on the player.

If this is true then our midfield of DeBeek Pogba and Fernandes looks decent. Fred may be on his way but I would be happy with Matic and Mctominay as cover. We need reinforcements for the front line of Martial Greenwood and Rashford. Ighalo on the bench probably needs adding to.

Sancho looks unlikely now. Not too depressed as most of our record breaking signings have been touch and go over the years. Too much pressure to justify the fee.

I have a feeling it may actually be Matic who will see his role decreasing. Fred imo is not going anywhere and he's said as much. Matic is getting on and I really think next season will be his last with us.

Fck Sancho btw, he clearly didn't give a **** so was it about the money for him? Can do without players like that.

Looks like Grealish is a dead duck. Impressed with the signing of De Beek though. Fcking excellent. I'm excited about who else we're looking into buying undercover like this.

Fred needs to stay, he had a very good season. Matic had a great comeback after lockdown but i think the rest did him good, he can't do a full season anymore but when fresh is way more cultured than either Fred or McTominay.
Matic has one more season with targeted/limited use, Fred and DvB will probably play the most games with McT stepping in for one of them when needed and playing most domestic cup games. His time will come.

So have we signed de Beek or not?

over 24 hours since medical, clubs allegedly agreed fee straight off, player agreed terms prior to clubs so when will it be announced?

Why the hate for Sancho? He’s being a model pro tbf to him. It’s not his fault Woodward is ****ing around and trying to wreck the deal.

May be a bit unfair but I saw his reaction the day after Dortmund president said the deal was dead. Sancho looked like it was something to laugh about in his Dortmund shirt. Dunno just seemed a bit of a prick tbh, not someone who genuinely wanted to play for us. I thought he might've shown some disappointment or appeared pissed off at his own club for shutting the deal down.

Marc Jurado, Alvaro Fernandez and Isak Hansen-Aaroen all confirmed signings. Aged 16-17.

Anyone got any youtube clips that make them look like the next Messi?

Not those three but apparently the lad we’ve taken off City has scored 600 goals in about 4 years or something daft like that.

I'm becoming increasingly concerned at the latest rumours that we are interested in taking Bale from RM. This can only be Bale's agent stirring things up. Ole clearly has a strategy for investing in youth - we certainly don't need a crocked 31 yr old.

I'd have had Bale for a year or two myself, he's an irrefutably brilliant player. I don't get what problem people have with him, bar his salary, his record is proven?

We could have had that experience for a year or two and kept an eye on the Sancho situation, I'm personally skeptical there's anywhere near a £100 million player there.

We still need a ****ing centre half and to get rid of three others though!!

    It's very quiet.

The market is dead. Looks like the impact of coronavirus and future uncertainty has scuppered transfers.

I think buying a decent centre back will be the difference between comfortably finishing in the top 3 OR fighting for 4th spot again.

I am always surprised at the hysteria surrounding our transfers or lack of. Every top player bar none available has been linked to United. It is the job of the agents and the sellers to link their players to United as it inevitably raises the profile of their clients as well as pushing the prices up.

Why were we desperate to buy Reguilon, a left back? We have Shaw with Williams knocking on the door. Why were we desperate to land Thiago? We have 3 top midfielders fighting for 2 places. Why were we desperate to land Bale? A player aged 31, earning 600k a week and liking golf more than football. And likely to be another Sanchez.

The only player Ole was really desperate to get is/was Sancho depending which news outlets you choose to believe. As usual Woodward was playing the mean bastard looking after the Glazers dividends. He is trying to save a few millions thinking that Dortmund will in the end give in.
