Need to bring in McCarthy at left back & move JJ either into midfield or not at all & Tafazolli in for Charles, in front of that I have no idea no service to Fred or Kashket from midfield they were chasing shadows once the penalty went in.

Today has to be the worst performance from JJ i've see he was totally out of his depth, mind you the tactics did him no favours.

At the moment we need JJ for his class but we cannot expect him to deal with pacey wingers and need to set ourselves up accordingly. Sounds like he didn't get the cover he needs. Maybe we were just outclassed and the rest of the defence were overstretched. Didn't see the match so can't really comment.

Blooms should not be on the pitch for an hour. Samuel isn't the classiest player but he does make things as difficult as possible for the opposition and should therefore start. Kashkett is not strong enough and will be bundled off the ball and be ineffective at this level

Afraid I have to agree Mowgli if Gareth wants to play him because of his dead ball delivery he has to move him forward

The other thing we have to think about have we just come up against a very good side that could be in the top six

After time (and beers) to reflect, it wasn’t any different to what was expected. Maybe I had hoped for more but come on, this is the championship, these are premier league winners. We have a small squad which quite frankly could only beat the top half of league 1 on their best days. If we play our best every game, we will still struggle. This game was a proper reality check.

No matter how much you expect it the thing still hurts though doesn't it. The gulf up to the Championship is huge now when you look at the money and resources sloshing around. Unless Billionaire Bert comes along with his wallet you are just never going to compete. It has changed so much in the last 10 years.

Maybe if we played a back 5 with three in the middle as I was quite impressed with Ryan Tafazolli good replacement for Darius Charles Ucke Ikpeazu looks a handful even though he was up front on his own it may be a blessing in disguise to get a hammering so early in the season and make Gaz change things as he tends to pick his generals know matter how bad they are playing lets get back to playing the big man little man up front instead of two little men I know Fred is about 6 foot but that is not big these days

I was thinking of a back 10 with 6 up front; and a few in the middle

We are currently just 2 points off 16th place but of course we should have beaten Rotherham and we would be 15th.

At the moment we are only 5 points off the play offs and of course that should read 2

That's not bad after only 2 games. Let's see what happens on Saturday. We could be even higher. Does anyone dare to watch?

Yes we people on here knew this was likely to happen at least a couple of times this season, the same as it did last season, if we finish in the bottom three fine, what I & everybody else does not want to see is us getting hammered everyweek
