A very improved performance won’t do much for the collective mood unless it’s accompanied by a very improved points tally. Spurs have started at least as poorly as we have. We can win this.
A draw would increase our points tally by a factor of 1, so that'll do. Anything less and there'll be gnashing of teeth (there will anyway).
I am confident that we will end up in a good position, but it would be so nice if Saints didn’t keep frightening us at the beginning of most seasons. Come on, lads...get some points in the bank.
Factors are multipliers so 1 would increase our points total from 0 by a factor of infinity really, which seems very good to me And 3 would be 3 x infinity, which is lots You’re welcome
System working. Apparently we have won the last four league games we have played on a Sunday, so hopefully we will make it 5.
That's a good shout Richie, I believe that Che played wide on occasions at Brum too. Is Stuey back today? maybe Djenepo can come in for Redders on the left.
What happened the last time Saints lost the first game of the season 1-0 and lost 2-0 at home to Brentford in the same season? I think it was in L1. Didn't Saints win the second game 4-0?
I would start Long upfront to stretch the defence of Spurs whose wingers will no doubt be high up the pitch.
Lol Mrs No7 just made me laugh. I got up to make her a cup of tea and normally all she hears is the clattering of dishes whilst I clamour to empty the dishwasher before the kettle boils (AKA the Dishwasher Game ). Last night I made a curry and used about 2,000 pots so knew there is no way I would win it as they take longer to put away. So I didn't play it. When I took the tea to her she said, "I can see you're not very confident for today" "I am, why?" "You didn't play that childish game that breaks all my plates and cups this morning"
The thing is I am confident. Just managing the controllables. By not losing the dishwasher game we win
