Listowel 16,30 Small bet Internal Transfer 22/1 e/w bet365 (4 places), 16 /1 - 14/1 others ( 5 places) 4th in this race last year.
RED STRIPES 28/1 Goodwood 4:40 Better known for his exploits around Southwell but all the same has some fair form on turf including a C&D victory. Was running well in the summer but one particularly nice run put him up in the handicap and he has struggled a bit since. His latest effort can be forgiven as he came back minus a shoe. Lets make no bones this is very mediocre fare with some dodgy over the hill handicappers. The thing that makes Red Stripes interesting is that he is ridden by 7lb claimer Molly Presland...who? Well she has hit the ground running and looks to me to be a 7lb claimer who will be in demand. Red Stripes is 2lb wrong at the weights but Mollys claim makes him 5lb well in, he really should not be 28/1.
Morning Hong Kong [1.15] Forza Angel Each Way @ 12-1 [Ladbrokes] My man Antoine Hamelin is due another winner
Perth 3.05 Our Lucas - on a very dangerous mark ( won over cd of 14lb lower over hurdles in 2018) - back over 2m (seems to be his optimum trip) - unlucky at this track 2 runs ago (falling when going easily 4 out) - trainer had 2 winners on the flat recently - conditional takes off valuable 3 lb
Perth 1.55 Robin Gold The Skeletons have encouraging stats at this track with their rare runners especially in handicap hurdles 4 Runs 2 wins 1 placed 4.90 PL Last two unplaced runs were over 2 m left handed but his 2 wins in Ireland last autumn came over 2 m 6 f and 2 m 3 f at right handed tracks so todays trip over 2 m 4 f back on a right handed track should suit. Down to a class 5 handicap and tongue strap on could eak out some improvement. There is a bit of money coming for this one. Worth an each way bet at 9/1.
His horses aren't running very well, but at least with this one you have a decent price to take that chance with. Good luck!!
This might stink the place out but at massive prices I am putting up one in a nursery. 1:35 - Hooves Like Jagger @ 40/1 Firstly, its an awful name, and no wonder the horse is basically plating class. Give a horse a name like that, and you deserve little else. However, look a bit closer and its an interesting horse, this son of Sir Prancealot has been gelded since his novice runs, and comes into a handicap off a mark of 63. He ran a decent race on his second start, rallying well under pressure and now into handicaps he could show more improvement for the gelding operation. The yard do well with nursery runners and at the prices he intrigues me. I also like following nursery debutants who run after having just over a month off since last running. Giving the horse the chance to improve past its mark with additional training and time to develop.
Jonjo O'Neill is another trainer who does well with his runners at Perth. Stable had 2 winners at Warwick yesterday. In the 2.30 That's The Truth looks to have a decent each way chance at the weights after showing some promise last season. At 8/1 on offer worth a go.
Yes, that was yesterday at the time of writing, even at BetVictor he was 11/2 but as it was only a bookmaker I put the odds he had in almost every bookies. Now he is still 4/1 in a few places, mostly 7/2.

Over in France there is little love from the tipsters for Francis Graffard's Extreme Fast in the Listed race at Saint Cloud. Reading through the form I felt she had a good chance today after finishing second in what looked a slightly better Listed race at Longchamp last time. Not beaten far that day, there were reasonable horses in the field to serve as yardsticks and the filly steps up to 12F for the first time today. Favourite Zeyrek drops down from 14F for Alain De Royer-Dupre and she looked a dour staying type, who might be vulnerable to something with a bit more speed. 6/4 looked a bit skinny to me. Stable form isn't that great at the moment but they are getting a few winners and have had five seconds, with two beaten by a nose in the past fortnight, so it could easily have been better on the stats. Extreme Fast seemed a bit overpriced at 9/2 with Bet365 and I felt that the preview with forecast odds of 13/1 rank outsider in the field were way off the mark. 12.25 Saint Cloud Extreme Fast 9/2 to hopefully go closer than the price suggests.
Extreme Fast held every chance but just couldn't pick up. She's a tiny filly and was dwarfed by some of the field. Stayed on at one pace for 4th in a race where the Fabre filly seemed to get first run and the favourite, who had been lying at the back all the way, came through but couldn't close the leader down. Based on this run she would need to be more positively ridden at this trip and a step back up might not be a bad thing. Hard to believe that MKFancy is a Group 1 winner with another poor effort today beating only one horse home. Final footnote about how far from reality the ATR price forecasts are. Maki Maki was listed at 8/1 in their probable SPs but was actually returned at 66/1, not much help to the punter there.
Well done, they’ve landed a right old touch but I would still be worried about yard form given how weakly she finished compared to how she traveled.
