A couple of Twitter posts I don’t know who #Roderick is Lights even Brighter After last weeks announcement by #Roderick it is now a case that the club and Bright are close to agreeing a new deal. BOS now sees the “Eze” route as his best bet for a big move. #Roderick said last week they were close but it’s now very close Ryan aint buyin #Roderick has also said Manning and his agent simply won’t budge. He wants a wage that is over our cap, way over our cap. The club won’t be taken for a joke. Manning will leave 1st decent solid offer
In my experience (personally knowing a few agents) its usually the agents and not the player who is demanding more money, a bigger percentage for themselves basically. Manning could find himself playing reserve football for a long time.
Dont get Manning if this is true. Yes he has developed in terms of getting forward, but if he believes he is a LB or LWB needs to do a lot of work on his defensive game this season, to get a move to PL.Cant imagine anyone realistically coming in for him from PL based on last season's displays and would get murdered in PL playing at LB
Yes it is odd...BOS is nearly ready for PL but would be more if an impact sub. Manning has a lot to learn. Last year's duties have not followed up on their enquiries.. I think he is making a mistake... Incidentally Manning has just changed his agent,.... perhaps his old agent told him to sign... I can see us taking nearly anything to get him off our books shame
Seems we are still pushing our interest for Charlton striker Bonne with. £1.5m offer turned down according to reports.
I think Manning is making a huge mistake, he's had one decent-ish season in the Championship, it doesn't make you a world beater. He would have been well on his way to obscurity if Ollie hadn't kept him on, he'd do well to remember that.
Yeah but don't forget that McLaren bombed him out on loan to Rotherham after taking over from Ollie..... He's probably resentful of that......
Wolves spending 37 million on a defender. Barcelona to the armpit of the world, bit of a shock coming I think
Particularly if we are still serious about buying the striker from Charlton I imagine that the bulk of the Eze proceeds will be earmarked for getting the club through the next 6+ months, not for spending on new players
It’s all very quiet on the transfer front for us it seems. Or we are pedalling furiously behind the scenes. I do find the radio silence a bit frustrating, but also like the fact we are doing our business quietly for once. Very confusing. Hopefully ‘no news’ means ‘good news’ ahead.
