    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-54319948

Donald Trump paid just $750 (£580) in federal income tax both in 2016, the year he ran for the US presidency, and in his first year in the White House, the New York Times says.
The newspaper - which says it obtained tax records for Mr Trump and his companies over two decades - also says that he paid no income taxes at all in 10 of the previous 15 years.
The records reveal "chronic losses and years of tax avoidance", it says.
Mr Trump called the report "fake news".

Will Dodgy Donny ever own up to what he's been doing with his taxes? Do the Trump voting Yanks give a toss?

Why would he pay tax on chronic losses?

Looks like he is avoiding payment of tax on his income by saying other businesses are making gigantic losses so in effect he breaks even at the end of every year and doesn't owe the IRS anything. He seems to think the IRS have all of his paperwork and it is being sorted out hence reverting to his usual "fake news" retort.

The dodgy orange clown has bankrupted businesses 6 times. Fecker claimed $70,000 on hair care during the tax year that he was on The Apprentice.

No it ****ing isn’t. But the Trump fan base think like you do, ie. they don’t give a **** what he does just so long as he shares their prejudice and ignorance, so it won’t cost him many votes.

loads of folk saying it’s no big deal ...

he got a 76m tax rebate

whilst he paid 1500 dollars in federal tax

    and paid no income tax

    over a ten year period

And folk got a 1500 dollar handout during covid19 lockdown and where told to be grateful!

    Nothing to see here ...

<laugh> I thought our politicians treated us with contempt !

Trump hates the types of people that support him

    Are you his lawyer?

The New York Times have presumably consulted their own lawyers before going public, so good luck proving them wrong.

    No I'm not his lawyer.
