Not allowed , time trial bikes are whatever you set the gears up for ......aero position still used , wouldn't call them heavy by any stretch
Not sure Nass - it’s only this morning I realized he’s joined Liverpool. One of those players everyone raves about but I’ve never really noticed him that much. Mind you, I don’t really watch much footy.
It is allowed and is being done. Luke Rowe was interviewed about it after his run and fascinating how the team and Carapaz are aiming to win the KOM on the stage
Today the Tour saw what was quite possibly the best stage ride in the Tours illustrious history. I dont think thats an exaggeration.
c’est incredible !,, superb race , great credit to all , but pogocar is an immense talent , the mental strength to do what he’s done , also seems a real nice down to earth guy . Roglic blew after all those efforts in the past two weeks , no hiding place in a time trial .
Nothing happens on TourSunday Pilgrim. It’s a jolly day out round Paris quaffing champagne setting up a sprint for the ten guys interested in that. No attacks.
There are no attacks and it is toasted with champagne but there may be some fall. Until the finish line is passed everything can happen. In the Giro 2016 I had a bet Steven Kruijswijk 100/1 e / w. With three days remaining to finish the race, he was three minutes ahead and was the clear dominator, but he fell on the Agnello descent and lost the Giro when he hit a wall of snow. I know that tomorrow is not the same but any accident can happen.
Man U 1-3 C Palace, Worst pen decision ive ever seen. Worst retake of pen decision ive ever seen. Utter shambles. I wouldnt blame VAR it was the ref.
I am sure I speak for the masses when I say "years and years of comeuppence". Sadly the game is ruined. Ruined by Sky, ruined by foreign owners, ruined by foreign players, ruined by the rulemakers......feel free to add to the list.
Perfect Sunday ending for the Tour, Paris looking great and the green jersey winning on the Champs Elysees. My betting bank nicely boosted with the green jersey result, a very positive tour for my account. Importantly though its been a great tour for cycling.
Two people are in custody as part of an investigation into suspected doping by the Arkea-Samsic team at this year's Tour de France. A raid was carried out after stage 17 that finished in Meribal. A quote from Marseille prosecutor Dominique Laurens said they were looking into "Numerous health products including medicine in personal belongings … and above all a method that could be qualified as doping." The prosecutor also stated they were investigating a "small part of the team" over allegations of "the administration and prescription without medical justification of a substance or a method prohibited during a sporting event, and helping and encouraging the use of that substance or method." Max penalty in France, 5 years in prison and a 75,000 Euro fine.
Australian batsman through the 80s and 90, Dean Jones has passed away in India. The 59 year old was in Mumbai covering the cricket for Star India when died from a heart attack. He played for Australia, Victoria, Durham and Derbyshire. R.I.P Deano.
Golfing authorities will be looking at ways to combat sheer muscular strength v. technique and flair after DeChambeau's US Open win. For me it's an easy, if controversial fix - introduce a maximum "bounce" that a golf ball can achieve. Range balls are "governed down" without affecting flight, so make it the same for match balls. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/golf/54234883
