Ran across the North Circular Road from Haringey into Enfield a few times. About 400 yards from the Lord Ranelagh to The Arnos Arms.

    It was a different world

Yes that's definitely a feeling that they have no clue. I've not seen anywhere saying Covid symptoms of runny nose and sore throat but that's what they had, yes a cough aswell. Hopefully it's just a cold and we'll all be fine.

Yes, bread, potatoes and milk, were the main staples. I've said on here before, when the supermarket delivery arrives, bread just goes straight in the freezer, and slices taken out as and when required, it's such a waste otherwise. I do still consume potatoes, but they can easily be substituted with rice or pasta, both which have a long shelf life. Main thing for me is salad items (or vegetables), which form quite a large part of my diet. Actually cannot remember the last time I had junk food. My biggest weakness is sweets, chocolate and biscuits, it became a substitute for my not smoking.

On one hand we have MP's discussing the support for people who won't have a job or will be working less hours, so will be struggling financially. Yet, on the other hand, we have people buying up supermarket items.

The stores need to stop them doing it.

The actual rate of false positives is 0.8% according to the Govt.

However I’ve read some twisting of this stat by the likes of Julia Hartley Brewer and Toby Young, who’ve chosen to misinterpret how this stat works and create misinformation on how a 0.8% false positive level could impact on overall infection rates.

Read that too. They are misinterpreting the figures to claim that 90% of tests are showing false positives.

There’s a decent rebuttal of that in an article on Huff Post that explains their flawed methodology.
