I try not to put my head near people’s balls generally chesh... a principle that’s served me well in life
Bielsa has said he made a mistake taking Rodrigo off, he wanted to see the game out with a defensive player but admitted after, Bamford was shattered by then, and he should have taken him off.
Wasn't able to follow the game but a great result new guys seem to be fitting in well with the team onwards and upwards
What a deluded twat Wilder is, in his interview I thought he was going to throw up when saying we were a descent side, he fkg hates us and me him and his team of has beens, hope they get relegated along with that arrogant twat Sharp. I thought Koch was our stand out player, didn’t put a foot wrong. Ben White?? who is he now.... didn’t he once play for us!!!!
Yep. Decent manager. Worked wonders with the club but a right c**t. We had more possession, more shots, more shots on target, more corners and most importantly more goals. In his interview he says that it says it all that our keeper was MOM and that if Marcelo walks in front of him he will tackle him. Just came across as a c**t as usual.
I understand your point. I marked him a 7 for his positioning and willingness to go at people. He also had a decent shot at goal. I marked him back down to a 6 as there were a few times his final ball let him down, in fact pretty much every time he had the ball he ultimately gave it away or lost out physically. Still promising appearance. Get an end product and he could end up an important part of this season. A 6 isn't bad.
Would not have given Dallas more than 6. He again struggled both in defence and in midfield. Did some good things, but not enough for more than a 6 Alioski did not play long enough to be juged.
Dallas had a distinctly average first half when he was pushed in to central midfield. He still managed to nearly score from a neat one two on the edge of the area and also showed his workrate as he was the one who put Baldock under pressure after he turned Jack Harrison and forced Meslier in to his 2nd fine save. If Dallas hadn't spotted the danger, Baldock would have had an easier chance. Its these little defensive decisions and the willingness to work like f**k to get there "just in case" that ultimately win you games. In the 2nd half he went back out wide and helped Harrison with some neat link up play. He was the reason Harrison had more ball late on in the game. Add to that the run in behind from a long ball where he went round the keeper and should have scored and he actually had a good second half. He snuffed out alot of Sheffields attacks by anticipating the pass and prompting our counter attacks. If you watch it back he was involved in a lot of key moments in the game despite not really playing too well. You could probably throw that at Pablo most games he plays and he is our best player. Alioski gets a 6 because everyone starts with a 6 although I understand your point.
well played lads chuffed to bits for you, just about to settle down with a beer and watch it as i taped it , just can't resist looking for your scores first here's wishing you well
