Good post mate. In my experience, forgetting the scenes of protests on the tv, people are breaking the laws/rules on a daily basis.
Oh, yes, I agree. But I don’t think most of them are doing it as some form of protest. They do it because their individual convenience is more important to them than the collective health of their communities. Selfishness. Quite a few of those moaning about police states etc are also more concerned about their personal convenience than principle, I suspect. Not those commenting on it on here, of course. Of course, as we don’t know how effective some of these rules are, especially those with little or no evidence behind them, like the 10.00 curfew, it might not matter anyway, and there is just cause to challenge them. The government minister on the radio now cannot answer questions about her own governments new rules. How the **** do they expect ordinary, thick, people to follow them?
I think it was the universities minister, whoever she is. But Whateley is a good catch all for astounding vagueness.
Possibly because the rules the government have put in place are meaningless, confusing and quite honestly ****ing stupid. We are like a ship without a rudder, going this way and that way without any true direction......and to blame the passengers for that is quite honestly appalling. The blame lays firmly at the hands of the government.
problem is if only 6 people were allowed at a funeral people would complain about that. The government is damned if they do or don't. It just comes down to a bit of respect and common sense. It's funny reading over this thread the number of people contradicting themselves from before. I guess like the government we need to adapt.
Not wrong though, eh Bob. The lads got previous for being a grass.....and they never change. Once a grass, always a grass.
You can’t defend these ****s ellers, surely. There purely unfit for purpose at the very best. What do you think when you hear them interviewed and produce lie after lie and avoid questions they don’t want to answer? The only defence can be that they are not in any form of control whatsoever.
Of course he’ll defend them.....he’ll have ‘Mop heads’ dick in his mouth by 7pm while having thoughts of Mrs Thatch naked covered in whipped cream.....he’s a ****ing Tory....it’s what they do
Hang on Woody I am not just sticking up for them. I know they have made mistakes but when people don't respect the guidelines it's not their fault. Just bashing the government at every opportunity. As I said many have contradicted themselves on here.
This isn’t about politics, I don’t think. A Tory might back their policies if truly that stubborn or if they simply naturally agree, but I reckon peoples’ feelings about current government policy, like whipping through the 10K fine bill in a matter of hours, on a Sunday night, plotted against peoples’ political allegiances would be totally incomparable.
