Cantwell has the potential to become a good player but as Farke said he hasn't scored or made an assist in months which is his job.

The constant preening of his silly bleached blonde girly hair and coming out in French plaits during a club record run of consecutive losses didn't endear him to me to be honest.

He is guilty of believing his own hype and unfortunately he's just not that good yet.

Hopefully he will knuckle down and start firing for us this season but he's a long way off the finished article.

After having the worst defence in Prem last season and a pretty leaky one the season before, how come all our defenders are suddenly on everyones radar:huh:

What is the latest news about Klose? If Godfrey leaves we would still need a replacement with Timms fragile body.

I guess he means league, pretty sure he says how many hours he went without doing anything.
He even says he could have put Hanley or Zimmermann up front for that long and expected an assist or goal <laugh>

Are we witnessing two players in Beundia and Cantwell wanting moves and throwing their toys out of the pram? Is Farke losing the dressing room with this unrest and speculation?

Possibly but more likely as a young inexperienced players they are letting the speculation get to them and affect their performance.

There's no evidence of this and bearing in mind the number of new players we've brought in and all the speculation things are likely to be up in the air a bit, at least until the transfer window close. Seems to me like a couple of young players have got ahead of themselves & been put in their place, nothing more, in fact I would think there's much more likely to be unrest if DF was picking players for games that their performances in training didn't justify. What evidence is there that DF is losing the dressing room ? Seems to me a case of putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 7.

DF may or may not have "lost the dressing room"; far more likely is that he has forfeited the players's previous unquestioning belief in him. It's not the result of the still open transfer window, it's the result of the dreadful post-restart results. Everyone looked to DF to oversee at least some sort of proper fight for survival; his "answer" to our predicament simply compounded it. The assumption seems to be that Emi and Todd are big heads wanting to play in the EPL; more likely is that they've simply lost confidence in DF's ability to engineer a swift return there and see their careers being held back in consequence.

Maybe it's time you breathed new life into the 'How long do we give him' thread?
FYI, it's near the top of page two. <ok>

I've no desire to be identified with KIO thank you Cromer. I don't share his antipathy towards our owners.

I’m sorry Dunc but what has his hair got to do with anything!? I don’t see Bale or Ibrahimovic getting any stick for sporting long hair. He’s not changing style every week or having different colours shaved into it like Pogba. Why pick on the guy just because he has a slightly different style to the “norm”

My post was prompted by the immediately preceding post by carrowcanario, who in turn was replying to CitySlicker. Should they have posted on the "How long do we give him?" thread and, given that they didn't, why should I have done?

    I Don
Well that's the only comparison you could make to Ibrahimovic or Gareth Bale.

When I was at school you could only get away with wearing white boots if you were good.

Cantwell to me comes across as a poser that believes his own hype , Aarons and Godfrey look to be absolutely grounded professional athletes.
Both much better talents than Tod.

Just my personal opinion and of course Cantwell can go get his roots done and have another bubble perm, he can play in a dress for all I care but he hasn't been doing much on the pitch for a while.

It doesn't matter how pretty he looks he's been an ever present in a team that were relegated scoring 1 goal and conceding 22 in a run of 12 consecutive defeats .
