it seems to me that anchelotti has not cured the red mist.

until they can actually convince themselves they are not inferior and don't need to resort to filth they will be hanging round missing out on glory.

everton are better than that rubbish. Once vvd went off they should have hammered us but they let us off. our heads dropped with vvd going a bit and it took us 10mins to pick back up. we then proceeded to do the usual which is miss chances by not making sure of things and then pay the price twice.

BTW first on Adrian should be saving. its gone through him.

Once everton started feeling mane was getting away with it they starting fouling and exaggerating etc.

we didn't play well secnd half at all, we dropped our levels and everton should have kicked on but just didn't make enough of it. they missed 2 sitters to add to the 4 we missed first half.

richarilson deserved 6 matches for that challenge.

but now we wait for the inevitable news that vvd is out for 3 to 9months depending on what ligament is gone.

Alisson is taller with a much bigger reach and a lot more agile. Adrian hardly moves.

Alisson as saved many shots that I thought ge had no right of getting near. I truly believe he'd have got to that.

    Just my opinion of course.

Hoping VVD walking off (without a limp) is a good sign

Hopefully he just jarred the knee and there’s no ligament damage.

Think you're clutching at straws. Hope I'm wrong. Looks like his knee is seized up. It'll swell and he'll be off for scans. Anything this side of Christmas will be a bonus. Again, we should have bastard well bought another CB in the window: didn't have to be Koulibaly or that ilk, just a decent fourth choice. Wait and see - Milner will be CB by the end of November, I'm telling you.

Always hard to judge if alisson would have said it, would vvd have headed it clear. No doubt we’d have defender better Witt those 2 than without but not much can do about that. Should have won but never mind. Away to Everton who are the form team, with a dodgy ref and 3 decisions go against us. Could have easily lost that game so fair play to the lads. They came out after rightly taking a battering in the press and social media for the performance v villa and dominated the game.

less worried about Gini going on a free now that Thiago is in. Thiago Hendo Fabinho looked absolutely fantastic today and already looks the midfield to start most weeks.

Yep. Hendo is released now, and he's a lot more creative than given credit for. Thought Bobby was mediocre again though.

I agree I hate fans who like to see opposition players taken out and possibly seriously injured.

Go on the website, it’s full of those comments on the match day thread. If it was just one you’d have to think it’s one nutter. It isn’t. It’s a common theme.
