Agreed. I enjoy Ralph’s style of play but tactics and personnel aside, the best thing he’s done for us is to turn us into a team that you never feel - and crucially the team never feels - totally out of the game at 2-0 down, regardless of the opposition.

I watched on NBCSN and Robbie Mustoe (ex-Boro? but now seemingly a crazed Chelsea fanatic) snapped when the camera showed Ralph at the beginning of the 2nd half; "Chelsea can not let this guy and his team back in to the match!"

I almost would pay £15 if they cut this **** out.

Your comment reminded me of the 5 Live coverage yesterday. When Chelsea scored the commentators were ultra excited, on the first 2 Saints goals it was barely a murmur...

They probably spent two hours building up the fantastic Chelsea signings pre-game and then creamed themselves when they linked up to score.

Love the partnership forming between Ings and Adams.

Ings is quality and a top, top striker. Reads the game so intelligently

Adams has raw young talent, links up well with Ings and brimming with confidence.

Could become the best striking duo we have had for years.

Cant agree with this, Bednarek was superb at Burnley & solid against WBA, but because Vestergaard managed to get through two games without ****ing up, his comparative performances have got a little more shine.

Can’t argue Bednarek struggled yesterday, but nothing worth being dropped over.

Don’t worry...Ralph won’t judge on one game. He knows his players. In Ralph we trust.

Not judging on the one game, as I've said before. I'm judging based on what I've seen this season.

Bednarek has had 2 good games out of 6, against 2 of the worst teams in the league.

Speaking of John Motson About 30 years ago a Spurs supporting mate sent John Motson a letter with a lot of questions in it. John wrote back to him with his answers. One question asked was What is you favourite ground ? John's answer was The Dell

Don't worry, Bedders is Ralph's man and has been our best CB since he got the job I can't see him being dropped any time soon.

But it was really strange, l had to listen really hard to confirm to myself when Ings got the first goal. The second was just a strange and yet when Chelsea scored their third 2 minutes later, there was no doubt to any listener that Chelsea had scored.

Finally, l would add that listening to the match and then reading the match reports in the broadsheets online (Guardian and Imdependant) you would never had guessed we were so much better than Chelsea in that second half...

To be fair though, this is from the Guardian

"Southampton dominated the second half and Chelsea’s loss of composure was summed up by Zouma’s failure to deal with a routine punt in the 57th minute."

Though, Don Hutchison - on the stream I was watching - eulogizied about the savviness of the ball from Romeu to put the defender in that position, it was almost assist worthy

The Mail also rabbitted on about Chelsea, but then added that we were the better side in the second half and deserved a point. The best bit was at the end when it was suggested that Walcott, Ings, Adams and Redmond formed an interesting attacking English quartet that might turn some heads before next summer.

If they all play to their best ability at the same time it is a mouth watering prospect.

I find that quite unlikely, even though it is us!
Ings: Signing a new contract soon which will likely mean he is going no where
Adams: Would need to improve a lot to move to a club better than us
    Redmond: We are his level
    Theo: Obvious reasons.

I thought the journalist was referring to Euro 2021 as he made a point of saying they were English.

Che Adams, the future Sir Geoff Hurst.

    You read it here first.
