Should he stay or should he go ...

I'm afraid that's just the arrogance that saw Saints slip n slide to div 1. No one is too big/good a club if the teams not playing well or just not up to it. Where I think you may have a point is that sometimes against all logic a change works. Few saints fans would've swapped AP for NA this time last year and look how that turned out!

 

Peter Reid is a first class guy who knows the game inside out -he was in no position to change things at Plymouth with all that was going on. How many out there would have sold a cup winners medal to help pay players wages?
I personally think that many of the doubts concerning SC stem from his total lack of skills in projecting himself to the media & the fans Comes over(rightly or wrongly) as very defensive & a bit agressive. Needs a good front man to stand behind.

 

I believe in the guy - he worked very hard last season to keep us up with some real behind the scenes nonsense going on....on top of that the players he has secured look pretty good to me - particularly Pearce - I think the least he deserves is support from the fans - yes the football isn't exactly perfect but we don't have perfect players - we have a team that grafts and nobody can ask for more just yet. Give him time we have winnable games coming up - we do need a couple more players no question just to give us some options and yes I'd like to see Rocha back. So I hope he stays and gets us a top ten finish which is what I hoped for at the start of the season. My congratulations must begrudgingly go to the crews down both the roads out of the city - exceptional starts to the season it can't be denied.
