Sounds like a **** at our place who tries to use clever words but usually ends up making a **** of himself. Thing is the rest of the staff are relatively young and consider him to be "with it and articulate" I just see him as a knobhead who thinks he's really clever, but he ain't.
same place I thought he owned Boars nest then changed it to Union Mash up? He was better in the Luddites !
I bought “ doppelgänger “ in Sheffield last year. Just came across it in an old record shop. My mate released it on his independent label. Once I saw it I had to buy it. Great track , should of done really well.
I first heard of them when my English teacher played a single to us in class as he went to our school
It was a very odd place to go to, Rudston Walk was primarily a wedding venue, it's set well back from the road and barely anyone knew the restaurant was there. The family that owned the site had a fall out in 2018 and shut the whole place down, sending an email to everyone who'd got a wedding booked just saying they were closed and took book somewhere else, they'd get a refund (no explanation). Though Boars Nest had actually shut before then.
It was the Greenwood's who put the company into liquidation, but I'm not sure if they owned the site, or were just tenants, it was all a bit vague.
The Greenwoods owned the farm before it became a conference centre etc. Mr Greenwood senior died and his wife lost the plot I think. The son took over and couldn't make it work. Did some work there and it was always a very stressful atmosphere.
I only ate at the Boars Nest there once, it wasn't up to much and had a really cheap fit-out. I think it's open again now, as South Cave Falconry Centre, but I never see anyone coming in or out of there and I only live round the corner.
