How come the bears are so tame and don't attack them, I would have thought they were unpredictable creatures, ie dependent on mood, although I guess if fed, food woud be a taming factor?
familiarity I think That famous bear dude that was killed about 10 years ago. The reason he got killed was, the bears that knew him leave the area for seasonal reasons, but these other bears move in That year he decided he was staying after the bears left, and when the new bears came in, they killed him and the woman he was with.
Yeah deffo, for me, even that glass door isn't enough, I'd have been upstairs barricading the door Loads of people here live on the border of civilization. Tis like that for people who live on the edge of or in wild forests.
I think I'd only half piss my pants and half think of what to do with a brown bear like above If I came across a Californian Grizzly, the sheer terror would root me to the spot, and I'd be food, piss and **** covered food
The only mental thing I've seen here in Norway was a deer just ****ing belting it past my front door as I was leaving and just going absolutely mental in the road. I think the Norwegians have slaughtered pretty much all wildlife now, you only find the interesting stuff way up north and some polar bears on svalbard.
Poor thing, animals don't like human contact (except domesticated ones), that bear was shocked it had been found out
I once got into work earlier than usual and there was a deer in our car park, when the boss started to open the gate it burst through a chain link fence and ran off down a narrow gully between houses to get back to the park i came from, there was blood on the fence
There's no such thing as a tamed bear. You can have them get used to their surroundings and familiarities but a bear always has been and always will be a wild animal. It has no loyalty towards humans whether they've been raised by them or not and it can snap in an instant. It's happened way to many times now. This is when it goes wrong.
