    They had ideas but did not have the money to put them in to place , hopefully the new owners have the ideas but also the MONEY, difficult to splash cash on players with the wage cap but just as important to get to work on key appointments, and putting the infrastructure in place to ensure that we will have the right people in place to get the club heading upward rather than stagnating in EFL1.

    Surely you aren't suggesting that we haven't enjoyed some good times since Wembley 1973?

    If so, then I don't know where you've been because I certainly have.

    But your response highlights the very problem I'm suggesting in my earlier post, that eventually getting established as a Premier League team may not be enough for some supporters, they will only see silverware as a measure of success - and that is a massive ask for any new management team.

    No pressure but we want dates, names, percentages and anything else pertinent like it's already signed up and just photocopying the contracts for filing purposes etc.

    The appointments are critical. Get them right and this league is there for the taking.

    We can spend the time between now and Christmas getting sorted behind the scenes with Jan and next summer’s planning involving the new manager/CEO/recruitment team/academy boss.

    The supporters will back new owners to the hilt if they can see the plan.
