    Match preview;
    Cardiff's 1-1 draw at Derby on Wednesday evening leaves them 14th, so 5 places and 3 points ahead of us. They have drawn 4 and won 1 of their last five, with Kiefer Moore their leading scorer with 3 goals. This is always a tricky fixture, and for me brings back two of my worst memories as a QPR fan...one was the 29th November 2002, standing in the Ellerslie Road stand and watching Earnshaw score a hatrick, then Campbell score in the 90th, and having to listen to the Cardiff fans sing '4-0 to the sheep shaggers, 4-0 to the sheep shaggers...' Horrible night...and if my memory serves me correctly it was pouring with rain and freezing too. Second painful memory was sitting just to the right, behind our goal at the Millenium Stadium, and watching the other end of the stadium erupting into euphoria as some git scored for them in the 114th minute. Still not over that one.

    As for us, many were despairing after Tuesday's woeful showing at Oakwell. A silly red card for Dickie early on meant it would always be a struggle. Add to that a truly comical own goal by Barbet and many on here were talking of a change at the top. Warburton will surely be feeling pressure, particularly as we are within touching distance of the relegation zone and we aren't heading in the right direction. One thing is clear, we need to see an improvement and we need to see it soon.

    As has been the case all year, it'll be an empty Loftus Road on Saturday, and I do wonder if we are seeing the benefit of playing in front of a roaring crowd...or seeing the disadvantage of playing in front of no one. There just isn't that urgency or a sense of pressure in our play, and obviously a couple of thousand people roaring at you will surely make a difference. It is a challenge that won't go away, so Warburton and co need to work out how to get the players motivated for this one, before matters get any worse.

    I'm also desperately hoping we'll see the return of BOS on Saturday. Warburton said in his post match interview on Tuesday that; "Contract talks with Bright have been ongoing for a while now. He’s a great lad, everyone knows what I think of him, but his head has to be in the right place for a game of football and I just felt that tonight it wasn’t right for Bright and for the team as well." Fair enough I guess, but having watched Tuesday night, I hope a lot of time has been spent trying to get BOS back in the right place to play, regardless of how contract talks have gone. We clearly missed him on Tuesday night, and need him back.

    Enjoy, and hang in there, to those who are watching and as always...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

    Didnt we thrash them 5 - 1 or similar last season? I'll be surprised if we do that Saturday, but if we could manage a goal or two, confidence would surge, so not impossible.

    I wish I could lose the never diminishing hope that we’ll perform well in the next game. If I could, it would save me having the hump for much of the weekend ..... and also a tenner.

    Not another match!

    I haven’t got over the emotional hangover of the last games!

    Trying to be positive, I guess that each match brings us one match closer to our next win!

    Right! This is the gameplan ... Score early ( Adomah, ) Shut up shop, two banks of five, and hit them on the counter. Job done. One-nil win and another clean sheet.

    If luck is on our side we might escape with a three goal defeat.

    I see Joe Lumley has gone to Gillingham on an emergency loan so either Kelly or Dieng will be hoping for a run in the team.
