Thought this thread would've had more responses. He's a major reason why the club is where it is and set the foundation for the years of success we've had (until recently).

Wish him all the best, he's been a fantastic servant to this City

When Adam took over Hull City, he told us, promised us that we'd go to the championship, but couldn't afford to take us to the Premier. He did exactly what it said on the tin.

Get well soon and then get that consortium sorted, mate. It would be awesome if you could lead us again.

Wonder what those who say it is a hoax or nothing more than a cold have to say?
Will always be grateful to Adam for giving us the most optimistic period we have known after decades of mediocrity and laying the foundations for things I thought I would never see, City in the top flight and at Wembley.
    Get well soon, Adam.

Adam Pearson saved the club every bit as much as the Allams did. There's lots of talk about the successes that we achieved under Adam, but I think that gets forgotten. From what I could find out, the Hart brothers were the only other gig in town at the time when it came to rescuing us from the Buchanan/Hinchliffe plundering (though there may have been others in the background). Had that happened, I don't think we'd have been a Premier League club within a few years...

As others have mentioned, AP is the architect of the modern Hull City. He made mistakes, but he held his hands up to them. And he treat the club and the fans with a respect that very few chairmen or owners seem to manage. He'll have ruffled a few feathers along the way, I get that, and I think all parties see now that coming back to replace Duffen was not the wisest of moves, but I don't care. His vision and hard work provided us with days, seasons, eras that seemed unimaginable in the 1990s. As someone who loves Hull City, I feel nothing but gratitude towards the man. And I really hope he gets through this horrible illness OK.

Great guy. I went down to Plymouth the day we won 1-0 with the Elliot chip from halfway. I got down early doors, was having a walk around the ground and who should come around the corner, but Adam with one of their directors. He stopped to have a chat. Top fella.
Clapping the fans at Yeovil was a mark of the man.

Above all, this is yet another salutary reminder that although for most people the symptoms are mild, this thing can threaten the lives of people who aren't that old and appear very healthy. Let's hope for positive news for him and his family very soon.
