T They said on radio Scott looked decent tonight which is good but for me in the odd games he has played he hasn't done enough. On Saturday the manager was right to get him off. Injuries haven't helped and I think he could be a good asset but probably needs a run of games but to get that he has to come in and put in a performance that makes him an automatic for the next game.
A pretty good performance overall - I particularly like the look of Alfie Jones, very quick to get back and hold up attacks and looks calm and effective with the ball at his feet.
I've been saying this for years. Swann is an illiterate moron who should never be allowed near a commentary box. Compare his so-called "insights' (pies etc) to the thoughtful incisive Bryan Hughes. !!!!!
I'm one of the first ones to bash Eaves, but I thought he held the line well tonight, kept hold of the ball and had some nice touches.
Docherty and Eaves/Magennis. Play either Wilks or KLP in the central role and play Scott on either wing. Docherty hasn't done much wrong but he hasn't turned up any trees either.
Holloway just spoke on Humberside, a bit disappointed honestly, he was full of praise for us and just slagged his team off instead He won't be there much longer.
Wilks is less effective than Eaves in a central role. Why do people persist in thinking he's a no 9. He's not. He's a winger.
I have no problem with swann. He states the obvious but is a good foil for Burns. I'd rather laugh my tits off listening to a game than have some self promoting failed coach intellectualising about a game of footie any given Saturday....
Every week it sounds like he wants to chuck himself into the Humber, so I don't think being on the board would stop him from buggering off.
