To be completely fair Vauxhalls used to be ok, however now they’re owned by the French so their build quality will decline rapidly.

 

I think he had about 6 of them, only one was a dud, a 1.6L twin carb Viva. This was all 60/70/80's. The best was a VX490, he flogged it to a bloke at work, he had it completely resprayed, then it was being backed out of the paint shop and got totalled by a passing truck!

 

Thank the Lord we don't have Ian Holloway as manager. I just listened to 15 minutes of him talking about GY losing 3-1 to Southend who are bottom of the league. Talk about rambling on and I'm sure the interviewer didn't have a clue half the time what he was going on about.

 

It's a good tactic though to use up interview time without being asked hard questions, bamboozle them to death.

 

I remember when the Grimsby fans were going mental over his arrival, thinking that it was a guaranteed sign they were on the way up.

On his arrival I'm sure I heard the chunder monkey say he'll take Grimsby places. He will, Woking, Maidenhead, and Eastleigh to name three.

You claimed that Holloway was already a major shareholder at Grimsby. I answered that his shareholding was less then £500, which at £100 share isn't a lot and those were gifted to him by Fenty when he took the job. I posted that Holloway had not put a penny piece into GY, you of course rubbished that claim in your usual condescending way.
