A wet and windy night awaits us at Coventry, the home of Jimmy Hill! Newly promoted back to the Championship division, they have fought back against adversity, and good luck to them! Gordon Strachan not expected to start against a Cardiff side, who couldn’t beat a bald Bishop at the mo! Should get a point, but rest assured it will take two years off our lives! A couple from Ivanhoe in a scoreless draw! Harris Out! :emoticon-0103-cool:

Any substance to the rumour that Robbie the Mole is on the bench for the Sky Blues?

I don't know if he has ventured to St. Andrews. Good shout though Clingo. <ok>

Hate to point this out but Coventry don’t play at Coventry anymore they play in Birmingham. That’s the second biggest city in England about 2 hours away from you lot. But you can’t go there in case the police on the border shoot you and even if you did make it there the ground is closed to fans. Just as well too

Rina, when you say “you lot”, find that a bit disrespectful TBH pal! We welcome playing against Coventry, great to have you back, hope you do well this season! Not tomorrow of course, but the Championship is a great league with big names competing! So please be respectful, we have elderly people on here, who get emotional....Clingo for one (no offence intended) and BFB for three! Now have you seen my bollocks? :emoticon-0103-cool:

Yes, a bit of a slip up there, the game is at St Andrews of course. Coventry v Birmingham was a bit weird recently. I am Arthur or Martha....who knows? Masky makes the occasional mistake.....Harris Out! Guitar for sale!:emoticon-0103-cool:

Always enjoyed going to the Ricoh, or as we knew it, the Three Point Arena, after 3 wins in 3 seasons.

We only drew the last time there. I couldn't go to the game even though I was in Cov - celebrating my daughter's graduation. The boys obviously missed my support.

Why on earth would you think I support Coventry ? I wouldn’t wish it on anyone to go to Coventry it’s a ****hole and that’s why no one ever wants to get sent there.
Also there is nothing wrong with saying you lot while we’re at it. If I’d have called you a bunch of marauding mongo’s then fair enough that would have been bad but I didn’t and if I was addressing fans of other clubs I’d have said you lot to them too more than likely.

I live in Gloucestershire (in exile). Will I still get shot? I get very emotional about being shot. Ah! Highfield Road with the stand with the curvy roof. I certainly hope Coventry's next move will be permanent and that they can build on their return to the second flight. And Rina, you should never do things you hate. Concentrate on the nice things <ok>
Incidentally, when was the last time we played Coventry on a Saturday. It always seemed midweek in my aged memory.

In my road running days Clingon, I raced “The Dursley Dozen” a fell race. I recal after some miles we had to climb a fugging big hill with a rope that was fixed to said hill! I went up a hill, and came down a mountain! Nice part of the world as I recall! :emoticon-0103-cool:

I think they still run it Masky. Up Stinchcombe Hill if I'm not mistaken. Tough old race. Not that I ever endulged.

Correct, I won't answer. Suffice to say me and Mrs. BfB spent that night in Cov and the Tenko Camp Commandant certainly did not stay with us.

There was an away game I seem to recall where I gave Burt Kwok a lift home while you went on somewhere else but it wasn't that one.

Clingo is right, the league fixture computer gave us mid week away games in Cov 4 seasons on the trot. On at least 1 occasion I met Robbie the Mole and his son plus Bluescull for a pre game pint in the hotel at the Ricoh.

I don't think Robbie was too impressed when I returned the compliment to them both by taking them to the Cornwall on a snowy December afternoon - might even have been a Boxing Day.

One of the few clubs where I’ve seen City play away at their old and new stadiums. Stoke City, Derby & Leicester are others. Maybe another but can’t think.

Ps Never been to the plastic bricked Lego Liability Stadium since they moved there from the old Wretch.
