Any way sky/bt can rob you more they will. I dont think many fans would have a problem paying clubs directly to watch thier own games. say in my case lfctv £50 a year for all lpool games. I would still stream though as I can watch the same thing at the same quality for free. Leeds villa will be a good game imo, I expect a very open game.
Following on from PPV ... 20/10/2020 : The swine are in the trough again ... and unlike the four-legged variety (think of bangers, bacon, butties), football, outwith their self selected few, can derive no benefit from their produce, not even an oink ! EPL (Premier League), Friday 23/10/2020 : Aston Villa 0-3 Leeds United It was the Radio and SSN live commentaries and my Twitter feed for me tonight. The match sounded even in the 1st half with Leeds running amok in the 2nd, but it was only after Bamford had completed his hat-trick that I began to think we would end up losing this game. So AVFC miss out on 5 opening league wins in-a-row, but this Season has become the 5th time AVFC has started with 4 consecutive league wins. Season 2020-2021 becomes the 4th season that opened with 4 league wins followed by a defeat. Season 1930-1931 retains its peak status with 4 opening league wins followed by a draw.
The comparisons of Grealish and Gascoigne are quite justified in my opinion for this reason. You cannot predict what they will do next. That makes him/was very good to watch. Furthermore it seems given the right support and not having to run the entire midfield himself he will flourish, tonight's result will not matter come the end of the season. Villa will be mid table and not be anywhere near relegation.
EPL (Premier League), Friday 23/10/2020 : Aston Villa 0-3 Leeds United After this result AVFC's total Form Points fell from 114 to 91 ... that is, points after 38 games. The maximum available fell from 114 to 111 points, with 99 points left to play for. AVFC are above par and 3rd in the table, with 12 points and GD at +7 from 5 games. 25/10/2020 : I had to wait for the last game today (Arsenal 0-1 Leicester City) to see where AVFC would stand in the EPL. We are ahead of Leicester on GD and with a game in hand. Above us, Everton are ahead of Liverpool on GD and we have a game in hand on both of them too.
EPL (Premier League), Sunday 01/11/2020 : Aston Villa v Southampton, KO 12:00 hours, SKY. 26/10/2020 : This is starting to look like a Season where anyone can beat anyone on the day, irrespective of 'reputation'. Our opponents next Sunday beat league leaders Everton yesterday, which kept the top of the table tighter than we might have feared after our loss to Leeds last Friday night. I trust AVFC will follow the cliche and 'bounce back' and have predicted accordingly. My AVF prediction, made today : Aston Villa 2-1 Southampton
29/10/2020 : TV move update, our game at Arsenal has been moved due to Arsenal's Euro involvement. It has also been made pay-per-view. We currently have two games that have been moved for TV, both PPV. Sun 01/11/2020 : Aston Villa 12:00 Southampton - SKY Sun 08/11/2020 : Arsenal 19:15 Aston Villa - SKY PPV - aka GTF !
EPL (Premier League), Sunday 01/11/2020 : Aston Villa 3-4 Southampton With both AVFC and Rangers playing from 12:00 today I followed both games online on three tabs (Twitter and both SSN live commentaries) plus Sportsound for Rangers and SSN at half time and full time for both games. Without seeing the play it is hard to judge, but AVFC fell victim to set pieces in the 1st half but battled back in the 2nd, albeit 'too little, too late'. A disappointment, but not a drubbing ... anyone can beat anyone on the day !
EPL (Premier League), Sunday 01/11/2020 : Aston Villa 3-4 Southampton After this result AVFC's total Form Points fell from 91 to 76 ... that is, points after 38 games. The maximum available fell from 111 to 108 points, with 96 points left to play for. AVFC are above par and 8th in the table, with 12 points and GD at +6 from 6 games. 02/11/2020 : I have had to wait for the last of the games this weekend (Leeds United 1-4 Leicester City) to see what position AVFC would occupy in the EPL. Anyone can beat anyone ... we beat Leicester, Leeds beat us, Leicester beat Leeds.
EPL (Premier League), Sunday 08/11/2020 : Arsenal v Aston Villa, KO 19:15 hours. 03/11/2020 : We have 4 wins and 2 defeats so far, so it is time for a draw I think, hence my prediction today. My AVF prediction : Arsenal 3-3 Aston Villa Note : This game is on SKY's poxy PPV, so I will wait for the highlights later.
EPL (Premier League), Sunday 08/11/2020 : Arsenal 0-3 Aston Villa I followed this match on the radio, an excellent result, off a good performance too, by the sound of it. After this result AVFC's total Form Points rose from 76 to 81 ... that is, points after 38 games. The maximum available remained at 108 points, with 93 points left to play for. AVFC are above par and 6th in the table, with 15 points and GD at +9 from 7 games.
EPL (Premier League), Saturday 21/11/2020 : Aston Villa v Brighton and Hove Albion, KO 15:00 hours, BT Sport. 14/11/2020 : Although we have a week to wait, I am posting this fixture today, following the scrapping of the PPV scam yesterday. Our game as scheduled will be on BT Sport per the tweet from AVFC. More details in the link below. Aston Villa @AVFCOfficial Our next Premier League game against Brighton will now be shown live on BT Sport. 5:02 PM · Nov 13, 2020·Twitter Link to AVFC : https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2020/november/Villa-v-Brighton-live-on-TV
EPL (Premier League), Saturday 21/11/2020 : Aston Villa 1-2 Brighton and Hove Albion I think we were the authors of our own downfall today, going high upfield and leaving ourselves exposed to rapid counter-attacks by so doing. On too many occasions our defence was AWOL and when present, slow to react. Losing Barkley (hamstring) after two minutes did not help matters either.
EPL (Premier League), Saturday 21/11/2020 : Aston Villa 1-2 Brighton and Hove Albion After this result AVFC's total Form Points fell from 81 to 71 ... that is, points after 38 games. The maximum available fell to 105 points, with 90 points left to play for. AVFC are above par and 7th in the table, with 15 points and GD at +8 from 8 games. 23/11/2020 : Fortunately the overall EPL results this weekend have only resulted in AVFC dropping one place following the flop on Saturday.
