    Clutching at straws notDistant....very colourful.

This is an important moment....we're not doubting Argyle have talent and ability amongst themselves.....but have they got the mental ability that would show us that they could do something special this season.....and use those talents and abilities to come back strong tonight.
I know at times I have doubted Danny Mayor is up to the job.....I would just like to see him light up Argyle's play tonight and deliver a match winning performance .....so many disappeared from sight at Fleetwood when we were 2-0 down in seven minutes....and personally Lowe just made it worse with his two first half substitutions....Mayor I believe was playing although among others as well it wasn't evident.....he had one moment where he got into a great shooting position and it fizzled out so disappointingly....just no end product.....if they fight tooth and nail and lose 1-0 so be it....but at least they tried....Saturday with Lowe's help they were abysmal....Fleetwood were no better then ruthless and efficient and showed why they got into last years play-offs.....Wimbledon went there and won so they are beatable.....we just didn't show any guts for the job.

Well that's suggesting Lowe played right into Fleetwood's style of play....counter attacking football.....so although the players get shouted at for losing....the management just led them into the trap......and Lowe personally confounded the situation by two early substitutions.....did anyone notice if he changed the teams set-up.....three more goals were leaked after the subbing.....and then brings on his top scorer once it was 0-3.

I'll follow it on BBC telly text....it's not so painful....and certainly cheaper.....still waiting for my refund of Saturdays massacre.

Didn't watch this one but from the very different opinions out there it seems we were better, particularly in the second half, but still not good enough against a side like Peterborough.

Wootton getting most of the brickbats and Fornah most of the plaudits.

I did watch it and the opinion of better but not good enough still is about right. Controversial opinion coming up. There were some ok performances and there were some that just were not on it. Mayor I thought was poor tonight. Lost the ball so many times and seemed not to know what to do once he got into a position having beaten a few to get there. Cooper (32) also poor. His crossing was abysmal. More often than not way overhit giving those in the middle no chance at all. Central midfield bypassed for a lot of the game again. Dembele who is a Mayor sort of player was head and shoulders above ours and our defence had to try to mark him. They failed mostly and I would swap Mayor for him all day long. It should never have been 1 - 0 and the fact it was just glosses over our shortcomings. Somehow we have lost whatever it was we were doing to arrive at what we are doing or not doing. Cooper (keeper) looked dodgy tonight even though he did pull off a couple af decent saves. The front two had hardly any service at all.

Didn't see this one either....hardly any shots on target....followed it on BBC telly text......seemed one sided and Dembele seemed to be in everything they were doing.

Ryan Lowe I feel is being tested for the first time....and he doesn't seem to have the answers....on paper he has a reasonable squad for this division....but they just come off second best and rudderless against the better teams.....we need to adapt our style for the task each opponent throws in front of us.....we seem to be easily sussed out and one dimensional.

.......and it don't get any easier on Saturday in the Cup.....Lincoln...who have already beaten us 2-0 this season......need to make home advantage pay....but that's difficult without the green army cheering us on.

"Will the real Argyle pleases stand up".
    And i think they have.
So, my prediction of 10th is about right.

Just read the comments of Lowe. Have to ask what game he was watching if he thought his lads did ok. Yes it was better than Saturday but lets face it that wasn't exactly difficult to achieve was it.

Need to add another game plan soon as other teams will have us sussed out for sure. I know not used so much these days but can we adapt any players to the old fashion wingers, they seem nimble enough these days.....

I fancy my 13th as well.....but no one is without a chance really.

Listening to his post match interview....I felt he was actually pleased with the performance....so only two shots on target is acceptable...is it ?

Your assessment is spot on with what I saw on social media Sensible, sorry to say in that it doesn't paint the team in a good light.

Just watched Ryan Lowe's after-match comments. Don't think there's much in there that's objectionable given he's partly speaking to the fans but also indirectly to the players in the hope of lifting them. Better that than the criticism Derek Adams used to ladle out towards the end of his time at Argyle, better to be a bit light on the truth if doing that produces some benefit.

Seen the match video....not much there to get encouraged by.....Argyle have the second worst away record...2pts.....Swindon have only 1pt.

Not sure if we watched the same thing but you don't learn much from 2 minutes or highlights out of a 90 minute match.
