Ipswich are the worst because they saw what we did only a few days earlier in MK. They still could not combat us. They appeared to rely on their home record and expected us to roll over.

He had Lichaj and Irvine up until lockdown - you can't let him off that easily. McCann should have gone in March latest.

I quite like the constant we was unlucky losing to Hull City.
We are a big fish in this League 1 pond and the best side in this League by a long way.
Saturday and last night we didn't even get out of third gear and when we do we score goals.
The first 5 minutes last night Ipswich didn't know what hit them we was a different class and only need to do it in spurts.
When we put in a 90 minute performance teams will get hit by 6/7 it will happen.
We won't see another Fleetwood away performance this season lessons where clearly learned.

I felt that Da Silva Lopes was a big part of our downfall, he clearly downed tools very early after the return from lockdown yet was still being picked to start every game. I think that rankled with the rest of the squad and so things fell apart.

Whether Lopes was persisted with because he was McCann’s favoured boy, or because the vice chairman didn’t want to affect his resale value by dropping him, I don’t know. Bit of both probably.

What I do know is that he’s ****ed off to Belgium now and our midfield looks immeasurably better without him.

My worry is that while things are going well McCann is comfortable and doesn't have to think too hard .. but already a couple of times this season teams have managed to work us out .. and he was left wanting .. I just worry he hasn't learned from last season although his substitutions last night were well timed he is still reluctant to change his tactics to nullify opponents threats

As great as it is to enjoy the current buzz, I reckon there are a fair few that need to temper things a bit. I hope I'm wrong, but there are quite liable to be some ups and downs and some bad days, and the opposition will be doing their homework on us.

Plan A is working, but lets see how we go if we need plans b, c.....especially mid game.

TBF, and I was one of his biggest critics, it does seem like he has finally learnt, and he HAS changed tactics ahead of and during games.
It won't all be plain sailing, but fair play to him these past few games.
Why the hell it took so long, who knows.

But we all know there is no plan ‘b’ or any other alternative plan for that matter.

Well said, we will lose games, play badly this season and we will have a patch or 2 of bad form... This place will then default to the allams are evil, grants **** / should have gone last season and we have just been lucky ( quill, do you still believe we have been lucky this season and it's only a matter of time till we/grant are found out?)

We are in a great position, we are playing very well and I still think we will be top 6 at worst this season. But let's not get carried away just yet and let's not all jump of a cliff when the run comes to an end
