As he was the Chief Chancers appointment, I'll give him a couple of months before he gone. he is in a precarious situation and guess he will be reporting back to the CC
So, the club seems to be employing people who all seem to want to move the club forward in the same way, whats not to like? Very happy here
Not according to safc.com. " After departing Birmingham City following an outstanding 14-year tenure, Speakman will lead SAFC’s overall football programme, including player identification, development and acquisitions across the first team and academy."
Head of Recruitment I think he said as well as a Head of Academy to come in. No doubt an expanded data/analytics department with its own 'Head of' as well.
I think he'll be the one who signs stuff off, but someone will be doing the grunt work. Either way, be interesting to see it all unfold. I'm buzzing.
What did Johnson do besides keeping a L1 club between 22-12th place before being sacked and the next manager getting that club 6th and promoted, then getting sacked after a few mid table seasons in the Championship? Is there anything else? Being young and favouring attacking football? Genuine questions.
Agree, actions obviously speak louder than words but hopefully this this the start of getting thing right finally....
all seems very progressive to me ..........and then theres the spoilt bairns crying for their dummies
Trouble is there hasn't been a manager mentioned (realistic options) that have been accepted by everyone. ALL of the managers mentioned have had positive and negative responses. It doesn't seem like anything to do with Donald to me and we at least appear to have a plan, which is what most people have wanted. Give the lad a chance as things needed to change.
