    He's had a few seasons in this league and done the exact same and Barnsley fans can't stand him so no I haven't overlooked it

    The reason I am extremely happy is because after seeing our new lads interview you feel as though the new lads will all be in it together helping each other not hiding like the other ****ers did.

    Imagine having someone at the club who's sole job is recruitment and underneath that role a team of a scouts etc. its almost like being a proper football club again. The new ownership group can't throw money at players wages and transfer fees due to the wage cap but they can get quality people into all the other roles that a football club needs to be successful which is I think is exactly what we are going to do.

    I'd agree 100% this is a total change in setup for SAFC. 'manager' doesn't exist. We (fans) need to realise this asap. Head coach fits in to SAFCs way of playing. Everything is flipped on its head. Club calling the shots not the manager.

    Lee Johnson wasn't my first choice..but I'm right behind him and the team.

    Having a football strategy and structure is key..then having good football people to execute it will be vital...we all need to get behind this.

    It should be obvious by now this is a new direction being implemented by the new people. Donald not involved and Methven has taken a step back.

    Further announcements over the weekend and next week.

    Whoever that may be will be a very lucky man. After the last 5 years, the fans are crying out for a manager we can really get behind and be eternally grateful for what he's achieved for us, and if there's one thing about Sunderland Fans, they don't half know how to show their gratitude to their heroes. Just look at the reception SKP gets every time he visits the club.
