    Not Football related, but I know there are quite a few cricket fans at both ends of the M27 [and the cricket boards are empty]

    Sad news in that Graham Dilley, who had that magnificent partnership with Botham in that test in 1981, has died at the age of just 52.

    I've just got in and only found out via your thread Dev, I'm devastated.....

    He was part of my youth, I was only 18, when he batted that innings with IB and I still remember watching it, in the barracks on my portable B&W TV.

    Yes and for Meowth and me, 52 is an uncomfortably close milestone. RIP Dilley.
