No need to get abusive. Just offering an opinion.
You always get abusive with people who don't agree with you?

    Brilliant.

"we were okay until the last 12 minutes when we weren't losing"

Yeah shame we let in 3 goals in those 12 minutes then? It could have gone either way? Yeah but it ****ing didn't did it? We could have ended up scoring 10 goals in the last 12 minutes but we didn't, maybe let's actually talk about WHAT HAPPENED rather than "if we didn't lose the game, then we could have won it".

Apparently we should judge our performance on the minutes when we're not losing.

I hope we lose 5-0 to Fulham so Bruce can give a post match spiel along the line of "we played really well for 88 minutes, unfortunately in that other 2 minutes the ball went into our net 5 times".

leeds dominated the entire game and of they'd taken their chances 1st half i dread to think.

Bruce knows deep down that he's a **** coach.. I mean he can see what we can see, but he can't just say it can he?

He knows how to get results playing ugly football and that's to his credit, but nobody wants that **** every week as a fan.

His job 17th and the media love him, so he can't lose.

I don't think anyone's going to realise we're in a relegation battle until end Jan ish

I have to say mind we can blame manager after manager after manager, but it's the bloody owner that keeps employing them.. Leicester, southampton, Leeds... They've all got good managers and you can add wolves to that... Every year or so a club comes from league below us and just blows us away before going on to compete.. It's the owner and Charnley... Clueless... If they just paid for a good coach we'd be fine

They failed to best Wimbledon last night.. They're facing administration if their takeover does not happen.

Considering how bad we were last night I struggled to care, obviously the shut down and Covid cases caught up with the lads yesterday and was obvious after about 5 mins... Seeing how amazingly world class he was the other night :emoticon-0130-devil Hayden was out on his feet last night after 10/15 mins and couldn't get near the ball. Everyone to a man looked tired and bar Wilson, Fraser and Hayden I don't think any of those who started last night get's into the starting XI if everyone's fit and healthy and at the club, while Fraser was getting his first start in months. Longstaff had an absolute shocker last night and on that performance I'd not have him near the starting XI and would be looking to ship him out on loan in January in all honesty.

    Darlow < Dubravka
    Murphy < Manquillo
    Fernandez < Lascelles
    Clark < Lejuene
    Lewis < Dummett
    Hayden
    Longstaff < Shelvey
    Hendrik < ASM
    Joelinton < Miggy
    Fraser
    Wilson

**** performance but we had a **** team out and a **** manager after a ****ty few weeks in terms of the health of the players. In that we need a point off Fulham to keep pace with what I was expecting from this run and the last few results that have been good I'm completely ignoring that Leeds game and seeing it as a free swing in that we've nearly got enough points from this run of games much like I'll see the postponed Villa game (as long as we draw/beat Fulham).

Nah he'd have to actually have embedded a plan. They'll just be glad of some direction I'd imagine. I can't get my head why all the players who play under like him so much. They get on the pitch and look lost, you'd think they'd hate him for selling them down the river.

Typical performance really bar the defending which was atrocious - particularly late on. We did look tired, but I'm not having that as an excuse because we've looked largely poor all season.

All I see is players getting worse, good players being frozen out while he brings in players that are championship level.... Wilson being the only exception.. One or two more windows and we're officially ****ed for years to come if not permanently

It never really works like that. A good manager will always turn things round if you give them support and three windows. The ****er is Ashley would give them the time but he wouldn't give them the support. A new owner will likely give the support but not often the time. Ashley looks set to be here for quite a while yet so I'd think we are pretty much going to remain in purgatory, with a Bruce type bobbing our head just above water. Just the way it is but fans shouldn't get too down thinking its going to take years to turn round. The damage is always fixable, but it costs money. Bruce hasn't really done loads of damage, just continued a path we've been on for ages. We've been in decline for 13 plus years now. As much as I wasn't bothered, its why Benitez jumped ship, he knew he couldn't get it going in a positive direction without buy in from the owner.

It's 16 wins, 13 draws and 21 losses if you want the full statistics for Bruce in the EPL.

Benitez won 15, drew 13 and lost 22 after 50 games in charge in the Premiership.
