Winner could be decent (or just well forward? Clearly a chaser I the making) but forget the rest. I see there is a listed race at Cheltenham on New Year’s Day over the same distance - probably attract a similar field?

It’s funny how people see things very differently. I thought it was a corking performance by the winner, who has developed into a very taking horse who may just add to the Nicholls firepower over fences next season. I thought the second and third were pretty good too, given they gave the leader an easy enough time. The second looks a proper staying chaser in the making and the mare looks very useful and could be one for the mares novice race at the festival.
That's the beauty of the sport Nass - it is totally non-binary and there is room for lots of opinions
