The lofted balls are absolutely killing me. One in every 1000 or so come off but it just reeks of desperation, no ideas, no ingenuity.

Unfortunately, we’ve lost so much attacking build up through VVD, Gomez and an off form Trent. Can’t blame the likes of Hendo for trying it because they’re trying to make things happen .

Time for Thiago to take us the title

At first, it appeared they were trying to replicate VVDs long range passing that often caught teams out. Seems they've got used to it and go long a lot more now sadly

But it’s also the cross field ones. TAA plays them. The switches of play out wide, just seems to be lofted rather than drilled. As I say I Dno if the weather is playing a part, caught in the wind etc. But does slow things down.

Trent's not having his best season so far, few of them are.
Robbo, Fabinho, and Alisson are the only ones really up to scratch, I think.

Think Jones needs a little time out of the starting XI.
Last couple of games he's looked a bit out of sorts, made the mistake against Wbrom and was pretty poor against Newcastle. I mean its understanable in that he's only 19 and going to have down games, think sometime out of the team might help.

Anyway where was Keita last night.
Plays a blinder against Palace and then can't get back into the team. Makes no sense. In fact we win 7-0 and then change a big chunk of the team, seems alittle dumb to me.
Keita and Minamino deserved to have been rewarded with another game, Keita would have been useful against both WBrom and Newcastle.

I would much rather see Jones play in big games where he has space to show his talents, but ask him to put a shift in or be disciplined at times and he doesn't look bothered.

At his age it's good it's that way around and he can work on things

Yeah - discipline can be coached, talent can't.
I said a few days ago that I think Jones' weakness is holding onto the ball a bit too long and slowing down the attack. It showed in the West Brom game, but he was a little better in the last one.
