So the PL top 15 are all in a 14 pt band. Whatever I may think of the PL campaign to date, at least Spurs currently have a decent GD (it may come to that) .
As did Linekers, Gerd Mullers and even Alan Smiths - there is an art to being in the right place at the right time
No extra points won / goals credited for the distance from where you make contact with the ball and it crosses the line.
No extra points or goals are taken away if the goal is a penalty either, but those are apparently being denigrated here...??
King hotspur said DCL and Son were "doing bits". But didn't mention any of the others from the list who had a number of pens to their name...? All I did was have a wry dig at DCL thereby implying I was most impressed by Son from that list. But the mere fact I'm an arsenal fan seems to have antagonised a couple of you on here, even if it's a compliment to one of your own players.
I'm also unclear as to where anyone said that goals from close range DO count for extra points or goals?? In your own words, please feel free to show otherwise...
Nobody did. Another delusion of your own making (to add to your one claiming that penalties are "being denigrated" by us) .
Getting the "concertina effect" as the usual suspects play their fixtures against each other. Still a few match rounds to go to get to the midway point, but the usual pulling away of the top 4-5 from the rest is not going to happen this season.
