    What can they do in the league?

    I suppose they could deduct points but City would just argue it was legit, they've got the muscle (money) to challenge anyone.

    Different in the cups, you just kick them out of the comp, but you can't be giving a free 3 points away to clubs that haven't earned them.

    They've got away with this one. The PL has bent over and allowed it.

    Couldn't they have refused their request to postpone the game?

    Asked them for all squad players who were infected and then said, sorry you have the minimum 14 so crack on.

    No mate I think it's more a case this bloke is losing his nerve. He's been banging on for 2 weeks now at Liverpool and Klopp to buy a new CB. He's now using the fear of United to put further media pressure by tieing us in with them needing to buy.

    He's such an obvious prick Carragher. But what it does show is he is genuinely worried about the defence to the point he cries about it all the time in the vain hope someone at LFC actually gives a **** what he thinks.

    I find it bizarre that Van Dyke gets injured and everyone who supports Lvpl is clammering for them to sign a new CB. Is that how it works these days? Or have a few been playing too much FM <doh>

    Funny as **** watching Chelsea, having spent near half a ****ing billion again, floundering about when literally last month they were being talked about as title contenders.

    Frank = getting there.
    Ole = 'failing'

    As may faults as Solskjaer clearly still has, he's bought very well and is clearly learning as he goes.

    Is he the actual right man?

    There's no way we'll find out until end of season now, no way is he getting sacked. Those calls should end, regardless of what happens between now and then.

    If he ****s it up, Allegri is still around as Poch is now (thankfully) a non starter.

    Anyone remember the headlines at the beginning of the season? Ole needs to be sacked while the “ talented Arteta and Lampard were guiding their clubs to new highs”.
    Every article about United was prefaced with speculation about the future of the manager.

    Lesson: Do not listen/read what the ****ing pundits and media writers spout as they know **** and do not know more than the average fan. Why would they? They see the same matches and the same interviews and speculate like any ordinary fan out there.

    Mourinho bringing back bad memories of his football tonight. At home he plays dreadful counterattacking football against the mighty Fulham. They sat on a 1-0 lead for more than an hour and got what he deserved. A 1-1 draw. He has turned an attractive winning side under Pochetino to a boring drawing team. His football is only acceptable if it is a winning one.

    Will Frank get the same criticism that Ole got earlier? No chance. He is the darling of the British media and the great young managerial talent of the season. Just like Arteta at Arsenal. Chelsea have 5 defeats out of the last 8. Can you imagine the treatment OGS would have received? And Frank has spent a whole load more last summer than Ole.

    On the flip side Brenda is doing rather well with a squad on paper inferior to ours. Playing good football, getting the best out of his players and top of the league <whistle>

    We played for a draw at home to this Chelsea side btw. Just saying :bandit:

    We beat Fulham and Burnley in 2 hard matches by only the one goal. The RS drew (in a very fortunate match) with Fulham and got beaten today by Burnley. Not such bad results eh :)

    They're finding out just how hard it is to win back to back titles in the PL and that's the mark of a great side.

    Sod the dippers team - it's great entertainment watching Jurgen Keegan go into meltdown. Hilarious - where's Matt with a video compilation when you need one.

    Has anyone else noticed the massive change in Klopp’s post match interviews this season? The previous seasons he was always jovial and laid back, and cracking jokes and was the darling of the press. Many have wondered why other managers couldn’t take a leaf out of his book. This season, he has been surly and bad tempered. Not a smile never mind cracking jokes and he has been paranoid about the league substitutions, referee decisions and bias, more penalties to others etc. and even picking fights with other managers. Although my money would be on Dyche clocking him one should he decide to be physical.

    He definitely is cracking up and that is rubbing off on his players ! <laugh>

    Thank goodness the GGs are a bit more patient (and money conscious) than Roman !
