1966, please, Bustino. I saw them live at Sheffield City Hall in late ‘66. The domed parabolic ceiling made the sound out of this world.
Before they sang Reach Out, they sang Ask The Lonely - and it brought the house down. Also, the three ‘backing girls ‘ (humming mostly) were fantastic. Unforgettable!

Surely the story here should be somebody shot a person four times while they were out walking some dogs. Or is that an everyday occurrence in downtown Los Angeles? Stefani Germanotta was apparently in Rome at the time, not at the end of a lead.

 

Those delivery cyclists. Complete idiots and have no idea what they should be doing to be safe on the road. In the last week on my 10 min walk from work to the rail station in the Empire's second city I've seen them run red lights, go the wrong way up one way streets, go a full tilt along the pavements and the majority have no reflective clothing, some even have no lights. At the moment the streets are devoid of most pedestrians and traffic but there is an accident waiting to happen when things pick up.

The illustrations appear to show that ‘Mr Potato Head’ has a red nose, a moustache and a bowler hat while ‘Mrs Potato Head’ has a pink nose and lipstick, so it is difficult to see how either of them will readily become gender neutral.

Of course Life Coaches have always been gender neutral and referred to with the third person pronoun of ‘it’.
